Tuesday 31st: 9-1
Wednesday 1st: 9-1
Thursday 2nd 9-10 (stocktake)
Friday 3rd: 7:30-6 (back to normal opening hours)

We are open today till 6pm, should you need fresh veggies, fresh milk, freshly baked bread and pastries, cakes, treats, gifts, etc etc

No queues, no stress, car park right next to the shop, it's a win win!

We are open till 1pm today, 7:30am-6pm tomorrow, 9-1 Tuesday, closed Wednesday, 9-1 Boxing Day and to give our staff a little bit of a rest, let's do 9-1 on Friday as well.

Come and see us today, we have freshly baked bread and pastries, fresh fruit and veg from the awesome Nick Brown, local wines from Silverhand Estate , locally made gifts from North Down Potting, The Little Cottage Art Co , handmade gifts by Jo and Denise, Christmas decorations by Tish, paintings by Gertrude Nahn and much more! Oh and plenty of treats to eat too!

We are open every day but Christmas Day.

Good morning!

Last few hours to place your Christmas Turkey orders with us, for collection on 24th in the morning!

We close at 1pm today, so come in and let us know how fat you'd like your bird :)

Also, Christmas has arrived here at Cobham Stores! We have lots of locally handmade little gifts, as well as tasty treats, there is something for everyone!

Our Glovers Christmas Meat Orders are now live!

Pop to the shop and let us know what you'd like, we'll order it for you and have it ready for you to collect on Christmas Eve. No queues, no fuss, just great quality meat.

On this Wednesday morning, let me tell you a little tale. It's called Tale of Naive Woman.

So there was this Naive Woman, who was a shop manager. She believed most people had good intentions. This man turned up and bought food, then gave the Naive Woman a £50 note. Naive Woman initially refused, but after checking the note under the Special Machine That's Supposed to Be Good at Detecting Fake Notes, and upon listening to the seemingly nice guy's story, Naive Woman decided to trust the man. Even explained that the community shop really couldn't afford to lose that money, and the stock, and stared into the man's soul, and decided it'll be alright.

What a fool she was. (me, that is).

Fake £50 note. We lost the stock, and the change. Between that, and stolen bank cards, baddies clearly think we're an easy target, just because we're Good People.

Moral of the story: never a good turn.......

If you’re at a loose end tomorrow, please consider Cobham Fete at Cobham sports ground (behind the school). Traditional fair. Free entrance and parking. We’ve added extra parking this year too. Wanted to give an extra shout as there has been a few problems with road closures this week but the village is fully open now and we look forward to welcoming you from 1pm x
