If you’re at a loose end tomorrow, please consider Cobham Fete at Cobham sports ground (behind the school). Traditional fair. Free entrance and parking. We’ve added extra parking this year too. Wanted to give an extra shout as there has been a few problems with road closures this week but the village is fully open now and we look forward to welcoming you from 1pm x

Our card machine is back to working perfectly (we would still encourage you all to use cash whenever possible), so please come and visit us today for fresh bread and pastries, Glovers meat, locally sourced fruit and veg and much, gifts made by local artists, and much more!

We close at 5pm today, and will be open from 8am till 1pm tomorrow.

Our summer opening hours will kick off on 1st August till 31st August, where we will close at 3pm, to allow for staff holidays.

We still have plenty of tickets for tonight's Party in the Park and the weather is going to be FABULOUS! Trust the weather forecast 😁

£30 for a family of 4

Come and join us after the football, we've got the Sunday Roast band, we've got Glovers burgers and sausages, we've got a fully licensed bar, you can also bring your own food and drinks, come and join us, you'll see, it's a great evening! Oh and an auction with great prizes, all profits shared between the community shop, the youth club, the church and the sports association.

See you at about 7pm at the cricket club, Cobham Kent!

Good evening!

We're all busily organising the village's next fundraising gig Party in the Park 2024, on Saturday 6th July. This is an open air gig at the cricket club, and this year we will be joined by the amazing Sunday Roast band. Tickets are £12 on our website Www.twowomenevents.com, but you can also buy them on the door on the night, or from Cobham Community Stores. Gig starts at about 7:30 and finish usually at about 11:30pm.

You can come and set up a gazebo in the afternoon if you wish, bring your own chairs and/or picnic blankets, bring your own food and drinks, and we'll have a bbq with Glovers burgers and sausages, and a fully licensed bar on site. How good does that sound? All the profits are shared between the sports association, the community shop, the church and the youth club.

Now this is where you can help us (on top of buying tickets and coming on the night) :
We organise a big raffle and an even bigger auction, would you have any prizes for either or both, please? Something from your business perhaps? A haircut, a massage, a couple of hours gardening, a meal? Anything really, small or big, we'd be so so grateful!

End of an era: after years of offering the best customer service possible for Evri, we were decommissioned on 30th April. We weren't told by them but by customers. Didn't have any contact from them till Friday, almost 6 weeks later, and finally all the equipment was collected today, so we won't be taking in any more parcels. Gutted is an understatement.

Thank you to you all for your support, we will be looking at other parcels providers and let you know what happens next!

Good morning to you all!

An Evri update:

Well, we have no news from them. Nothing. But a couple of lovely customers have pointed out that we don't appear as a choice on Ebay and Vinted anymore. Have we been cancelled without even knowing anything?

We still have all the equipment and are processing parcels daily, both pick up and drop off, so as far as we're concerned, we're still Evri agents (and we still get visited daily by one of the nicest Evri drivers in the world)! We have been Evri agents for years, in fact, we were one of the first ones in the area, years ago, trading under Hermes. We have been striving to offer the best service possible, so are a bit baffled by it all.

So please still bring us your parcels, we need each and every one of them!

Aaaaaanyway.

In more positive news, we are open today till 1pm, pastries are just out of the oven, as well as fresh bread. We have Glovers meat, Nick Brown's fruit and veg, Curd and Cure cheeses, and plenty more. Come say hi ! With our without parcels! 😂
