LOCHLEA WHISKY 🥃

Introducing the third and final Crop of Sowing Edition, matured exclusively in first-fill Bourbon barrels.

Like the First and Second Crops, Sowing Edition Third Crop has been matured in 100% first-fill Bourbon barrels.
Over the years the spirit has worked particularly well in this type of cask, as the apple notes complement the vanilla flavours typically associated with Bourbon barrels.
Nose: Almonds, rose petals
Palate: White pepper, a vibrant burst of apple blossom, crisp pear
Finish: Warm straw, fresh grass

Today is the release day of… LOCHLEA
PLOUGHING EDITION SECOND CROP 👏🥃

The fourth and final addition to the Second Crop of limited seasonal releases, Ploughing Edition is aged in 100% ex-Islay barrels, resulting in a whisky that’s fruity and sweet, with a small kick of peat.

This dram starts with Lochlea’s signature cereal notes and fresh green apple, evolving into freshly cut summer hay and succulent fruit on the palate. The finish? A hint of sea salt and lingering peaty embers, reminiscent of a beach bonfire.

The new ARTIST EDITIONS from 👌🏼

These beautiful Gins distilled in the Cairngorms and illustrated by Kat Baxter come in,

“GINNY” the Highland cow, the first in the artist edition series. The gin is juniper led with citrus and floral notes on the nose.

“STRUAN” the monarch red stag. This gin is depicted using juniper, orange, lemon, coriander and Angelica which is used to distil the gin.

“CAPER” smooth on the palate this gin carries some citrus notes, ending with a twist of ginger and a hint of pepper.

“FREYA” the red fox, fresh flavours of juniper and spicy notes of coriander give way to rich berries, sweet candied orange, vanilla and subtle hints of locally foraged heather.
