Thanks for supporting my small business. I really appreciate it.

2024 was a challenge for the business and personally, and I’m taking some time off to recharge and come back ready for another year. See you in February.

Ps. If you want a resolution for 25, resolve to support small businesses to keep our communities vibrant. Even a daily like on a social media post can make a difference.

🆕🇪🇸 Doskiwis’ Peacharine is a hazy IPA with a single dry hop of Peacharine from the March 2023 harvest. The aroma is ripe with aromas of peach, nectarine and citrus peel.

In the mouth we find a medium bodied, silky beer and an explosion of fruits such as peach, plum and candied orange.

DID YOU KNOW that Peacharine is a recently developed experimental hop grown in New Zealand’s Sunrise Valley.

Expect apricots, citrus, stone fruit, white grape, and subtle floral and bubblegum esters.

🆕🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 There are some tangy fruit flavours amongst the soft hazy body of Gravity Well’s Penrose Diagrams New England IPA.

Gravity Well say “We got hold of some of the finest Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka from Clayton Hops and, to really elevate things, we’ve also incorporated the Amplifire versions of the hop pellets. These enhanced pellets pack an even bigger punch, much like cryo or CGX. To balance out the NZ intensity we’ve also got a healthy dose of Citra in there because…..you know, NEIPAs need Citra.”

Holy Goat say “One of our favourite single barrel Flanders Red expressions at Holy Goat, this barrel was deemed too special to be blended into our larger releases and is instead showcased as is.”

We go again. The shop is open today from 12 till 6. It’s another BIG week for new beers - including IPAs, DIPAs and TIPAs from Overtone, Verdant, Beak, Deya, and Azvex, sours from Yonder and Vault City, and a Vault City impi stout that sounds incredible.

Today’s office - Cathkin Braes. Glorious up here. Working of course - I’ve ordered Northern Monk, Phantom, State of Kind, Siren, Beak, Overtone, Otherworld, Cloudwater, Vault City, Burning Sky, Azvex and more. The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday 12 till 6 and Sunday 12 till 4.

No word of a lie, I had two separate dreams last night about boxing up beers… That’s pretty much been my life for the past month. Thanks to everyone who has bought beer from me and kept me busy. Back at it this week - normal shop hours till Sunday!
