The Shortbread House of Edinburgh is a small, family run bakery started by Anna Wilson. It has since become the premier brand of shortbread throughout the British Isles. Their products use no short cuts or preservatives, and they are always made with the same recipes by hand.

They are great with tea and coffee😊 You may have tried these shortbreads without even knowing! These delicious shortbread can be found in Fortnum and Mason in London, KaDeWe in Berlin and Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day - 21st November🍷🍇

Imagine the excitment as millions of bottles, just weeks old, are uncorked all at once. Its like the wine world’s own New Years Eve.

Thursday the 21st November is Beaujolais Nouveau Day in France, A time to celebrate new French wine, fresh from the harvest.

Unlike any another French wine, it is drunk immediately after harvesting. it has a cheerful reputation and doesn’t take itself too seriously. It is generally served chilled to bring out the fresh flavours

So… come into the shop on 21st November for a sample! 😋
