⭐️ JCB No. 21 Crémant de Bourgogne
Aromas of citrus, almonds and white flowers. A refreshing palate with good acidity and a lovely rich texture.

🍓 Vecchia Modena Lambrusco Sorbara
Sparkling red is back! This one is full of intense wild berry flavours coupled with a lively acidity.

🤍 Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs
Bold, generous and elegant. Aromas of white peach, citrus and hazelnut. Creamy in texture with subtle iodine notes.

WHAT A NIGHT! 🥃

We want to extend a huge thank you to those who joined us last Wednesday for our latest whisky tasting. It was a lovely evening and your enthusiasm really made it something special! And, of course, we want to thank Steven from Tomatin Whisky who expertly guided us through some wonderful and varied drams (PX 2006 anyone? Wowee! 👀). It was an absolute pleasure!

The first and only vodka made on the Isle of Skye, triple distilled in small batches using their crystal-clear waters. White fruit, lemon and vanilla on the nose; plum and elderflower on the palate. This spirit can be sipped over ice, enjoyed with a premium mixer or used as a base for classic cocktails. 🌿 Honeyberry & Elderflower Liqueur
A gin-based liqueur made with honeyberries grown in the distillery garden and foraged wild elderflowers. Blended specially for us by the Thompson Brothers at Dornoch Distillery, Above The Line celebrates the distilleries of the North Highlands. A blend of whiskies of a minimum of 8 years old, this baby is bottled at a respectable 46%. Our first batch is exclusively available in store now at £35 per bottle. Slàinte mhath!

❓MYSTERY MALT❓

We absolutely LOVE this idea from . All bottles are £65 but the whiskies inside are not all the same. The name and age of your chosen dram is hidden under the capsule and the only way to identify the contents is to open it (as you should with all good whisky)! It may be old, it may be young. It could be rare or maybe not…excellent value for money either way.

Folk have gone absolutely crazy for this so it’s sold out just about everywhere. BUT we still have some on the shelves here in Fort William so get a wiggle on and let a little bit of mystery into your life! 🥃

RETURN OF THE DRAAM 🥃

We’ve recently taken delivery of Raasay’s core release, The Draam, in both full size and small but mighty miniature. Lightly peated and balanced with rich, dark fruit flavours, this is a firm favourite here at HLC. We now also have the Oak Species Maturation Tasting Pack, an exploration into the variety that comes from maturing whisky in different virgin oak casks (Quercus humboldtii, Quercus petraea, Quercus robur and Quercus muehlenbergii). Perfect for the indecisive among us!
