🍯 Old Pulteney Stroma
Okay, we know this is a liqueur but we absolutely HAD to give this one a shout out because it’s so good! Smooth, sweet tasting and warming with rugged undertones. Could be the gateway whisky option for the uninitiated.

🧁 Nc'nean Distillery Quiet Rebels: Amy
Finished in Maury (French fortified wine) casks alongside STR red wine and ex-Bourbon barrels. Lemon custard, damson jam, brown butter muffins. Creamy and jammy.

🔥 Ardnamurchan Distillery Sherry Cask
Combines the complex flavours of PX and Oloroso Sherry butts with coastal peat smoke. Beach bonfires, smoky bacon and fruit cake. Warm and robust.

🌰 Tomatin Whisky 18YO
Matured in traditional oak casks and first-fill Olosoro Sherry butts. Dried apricot, nougat and nutty flavours develop into tropical fruit with mellow undertones and a generous finish. Silky smooth and dry.

Dún Cana 🥃

Now, we posted about Isle of Raasay Distillery’s Dún Cana a wee while back but wanted to give it another shout out due to its recent accolade and the fact that we only have FOUR LEFT IN STOCK! 🏃‍♂️💨

‘The World’s Best Whisky 2024’ according Forbes, Dún Cana - Sherry Quarter Cask Release (Second Edition) is made of peated and unpeated spirit matured first in American rye casks with a second maturation in Pedro Ximènez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. This whisky exudes peppery spice, dried sultanas and a hint of vanilla with a finish of lingering salty chocolate and a light hint of aromatic woodsmoke. In other words; DELISH!

Nothing says Christmas like sherry cask whisky (and it makes for the perfect gift), slàinte! 🎄

We’ve got a red, a white & a sparkling wine from the folk at Fowles Wine, a family-owned winery from the Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria, Australia who are proud of their award-winning portfolio of cool-climate wines; and so they should be.

Plum-filled Shiraz that fills the nostrils with cinnamon, black pepper and spice. Classic!

🐰 Chardonnay 🐰
Full-bodied, creamy and tropical with peach, papaya and a trace of biscuit. A.B.C. is a thing of the past!

NEW GIN 🍸🥃

We’ve got a brand new addition to our Highland Liquor Company line up. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Experimental Series #6!

This unique gin has been rested for three months in a cask which started life in America as a bourbon cask then had a second life at Worthy Park, Jamaica where it aged rum for four years. Floral with warm spice, it has picked up some tropical notes and some vanilla sweetness from the wood. We recommend serving this with ginger ale and a slice of orange. The perfect winter warmer 🍊

Look at these beautiful bottles from Mar de Frades, a Galician vineyard located in the Rías Baixas; a paradise for winegrowing. Its oceanic climate is mild and damp with very high rainfall…remind you of anywhere? Let’s meet the wines!

ALBARIÑO (The Original)
👁️ Bright, pale lemon in colour, with inviting hints of lime.
👃 Fresh and intense, with notes of wild flowers, eucalyptus, mint and tropical fruit.
😋 Refreshing, vibrant, fluid and ‘electric’. Harmonious!

FINCA VALIÑAS ALBARIÑO (The G.O.A.T.)
👁️ Intense yellow in colour, with glints of gold.

New teeny, tiny (and mighty) tinnies from our latest Whitebox Cocktails restock.

First up is the brand new Collina & Co Espresso Martini. FUN FACT: The Espresso Martini was originally created in the 80s when an exhausted supermodel asked for a drink to "wake me up and then **** me up." Whoever that mystery woman was, we love you…and we love this can of boozy, caffeinated joy which does exactly what the supermodel asked! ☕️🍸

Next is Chipper’s Old Fashioned, a timeless classic which uses whiskey, demerara sugar syrup and bitters infused with cherry wood. This baby is rich, indulgent, oaky and exactly what you need when you’re feeling a bit Mad Men. Chill then serve over ice in a lowball glass and garnish with orange peel. Don Draper would approve! 🥃 🍊

Spain’s noble grape is having a moment, here are our two picks featuring this delicious variety; one from the top shelf (£££) and one from the bottom (£).

Embrujo & Las Tinadas are both from and certified organic! Embrujo is a younger wine that’s light and juicy and pairs well with duck, mushrooms and spiced/earthy dishes. The more richly textured Las Tinadas, aged in clay pots, is fruity, aromatic and silky smooth. Pair it with red/white meat, oily fish (yes, red with fish!) or tomato-based pasta dishes.
