Two weeks today, we'll be in full swing with the Slow Food Taste Workshops. Starting at 1pm with super pie hero , then at 3pm we're very excited to welcome Shane Holland from and talking and tastings of food heritage items from the Ark of Taste.

Then it's time for apertivo! Viva Vermuts, Simon Dockerty from will introduce the wonders of Spanish Vermuts. All Taste Workshops include food and drink to illustrate the story and last about an hour!

The day will finish with our very own Slow Food Feast with chef ... Nine courses that illustrate a number of key food issues current in today's society. Not to be missed! More information and booking can be found on our website.

Said goodbye to the last of the old farm machinery today. The combined last worked 20 years ago but it fired up first time it's now off to be restored and used not far away, so I hope to see it working again soon. Too many memories of a way of family farming gone forever
