Something horrible is going on at Whimple Stores!
Get your young ones ready for Halloween with our fake blood, scar tatoos, face paints, and witches hats.
If these don't send a chill down your spine, we also have special Haloween themed sweet treats.
We are staying open a bit later on Thursday, so include us in your trick or treat route around the village. We have some treats of our own!

We are recruiting to fill three positions becoming vacant over the next few months due to house moves.
The people we are looking for need to be friendly, able to learn the till and Payzone systems, reliable, diligent and trustworthy.
The vacancies are part time, potentially with hours to suit your lifestyle but occasional weekend working included. Must be 18+ due to alcohol and cigarette sales and physically fit to cope with being on your feet all day, restocking shelves and moving incoming stock into the store room.
If you are interested in working for this lovely village shop, pop in and pass over your details and the days/ hours that you can work available to either Sharon or Rory.

We are in the heart of Whimple and supply (almost) everything you could ever need.

Our thanks to all our customers for their patience when we lost the internet last week and thus our till system and card machine thanks (allegedly) to some contractors (aka cowboys) and their pole planting machine .
Sabrina created a paper based "tab" record, so that customers could take their goods and pay later. Many have come back to pay (thank you) but some have not. If you have not paid, could you pop in as soon as possible?

The fibre internet drives a lot of equipment in the shop and this recent activity has prompted a re-think into a back-up plan. I did invest in mobile internet equipment two years ago, but then found there was no mobile signal so it lies there gathering dust.

I was away, so could not think how to create an alternative solution and communicate it to Sabrina as without internet, we also lost the shop phone and WhatsApp connections!

New to Whimple Stores and as a result of customer request, we now stock Seabrook Sea Salted Crisps sharing bags at £1.25 per bag. We are already munching our way through a tester bag, so you will need to hurry!

If you like flavoured Walkers crisps but cannot eat them due to the milk and wheat products normally used in the flavour coatings, we now stock a new Walkers Crisp range of BBQ Pork and Flame Grilled Steak flavours in Whimple Stores. No milk and no wheat products in the ingredients.

Despite their meaty flavours, they are also Vegan friendly!

Parents: Have you got an Elf in your house? The rumour is that it gets up to no good in the run up to Christmas but communicates your children's wishes back to Santa but you must have one by 1st December (Friday!). We wonder what our Elf is doing? Its warm enough in the shop without stoking a fire!
Santa has allocated some Elves to Whimple Stores for distribution to the good parents of Whimple (for a small transfer fee).
