A dram full of vanilla ice cream flavours, Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream is the fifth release in the ‘A Tale Of…’ series and with a abv of 46% abv, this a mellow treat. Master Blender, Gillian Macdonald, experimented with specially toasted cask types to reach this flavour profile, finally settling on a combination of single malt aged in bourbon casks with whisky finished in high-vanillin casks, toasted to bring out more vanilla notes.

We’ve tried, and very much like, many of the Scotch whisky blends on the market, but that didn’t stop us wanting to make our own. In fact, it gave us all the more reason to create The Loch Fyne Blend to help tell our story.

And so, we crafted what we consider to be the best blend around, using the knowledge we’ve gained from speaking to our customers for over 24 years. We like to call it ‘the malt drinker’s blend’.

Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish

A delicious blend of sweet and strong, the Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish is part of a collection of only 21 casks released by Bunnahabhain to reflect the twenty-one-year-old dram’s release.

As the name suggests, it is bottled at a Cask Strength 53.6% abv and matured in both Ex-Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximénez casks. Throughout its time slumbering, this whisky never left its home soil on the isle of Islay, giving it that distinctive salt spray nose that is noted in island malts.
