Morning! We’re open 11am-10pm today 🥳 if you’ve left it all a bit last minute (like we do every single year) then we do gift cards! 🙌 available in store or online, if you come in to get a physical gift card then you can pick up one of our lovely hand-painted gift card backs 👩‍🎨

After today we’re closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, then open again at midday on the 27th 🎄🍻🎄🍻🎄

🍸🎁 If you’re picking up a bottle of gin to give to someone special this year we have these beautiful furoshiki wraps in now - free with any bottle of Lind and Lime while stocks last! They’re organic cotton and are reusable again and again, and best of all there’s no worries about losing the scissors or running out of sellotape 💕✨🎄

We’ve been a wee bit quiet on the socials lately as our ongoing battle for our sit-in Licence has taken up a lot of our time! 😅 but we just wanted to give you an an update on where we’re at…

Firstly, we are so so grateful for the 22 letters of support submitted ahead of the Licensing Board meeting last week, and a very special thanks to the four customers who took time out of their Monday morning to speak in person at our (lengthy) hearing! 🥰 We really believe that the local support made all the difference, and we were thrilled not to have any objections from the public or police.

While we felt we made really good progress, we weren’t successful this time due to some concerns about additional toilet provision. We’ve now been asked to apply for an additional permit for an exemption to this, which we’re working on with an architect. The Board will then reconsider our application in February, so we’re holding our hopes out for then🤞

For now, we’re keeping ourselves busy stocking up on all your favourites (and loads of exciting new stuff!) ahead of what feels like it will be a great festive season ✨🎄❤️ Thank you all again for all your support, it really means so much 💕💕

For this week’s free tasting we have in the shop! 🍻🍻🍻 we’ve had their beer in the fridges before but never had these guys in for a tasting so we’re super excited 🥳 pop in from 6pm-7:30 tomorrow (Thursday 24th) to sample some of their excellent beer - they’ve just brewed a collab beer with for the women in beer festival this week which we can’t wait to try 😎 as always, all free and no need to book - just pop in and say hi! 👋

P.S. we’ve had to make a slight change to the schedule but rest assured we will still be having vault city in for a tasting, you’ll just have to wait a couple more weeks 🥭
