Yesterday, while enjoying the feature sliding door to the Showroom, we reflected on the stunning original oil painting by artist and interior designer,

“Dark Islands” captivates with its moody atmosphere, highlighted by pops of gold that add elegance and warmth. Soft pinks woven throughout provide a gentle contrast, creating a soothing balance.

is delighted to offer a limited selection of unique, hand-painted trinket dishes and "My Wee Notebooks" by the talented Scottish artist,

The trinket dishes are inspired by the beautiful colors of the sea, the rich hues of the land, and the blue of the sky. They are ideal for storing small trinkets and jewellery and make wonderful gifts.

To style and re-decorate this bedroom in Edinburgh's , chose colour, 'Glenbrittle' - a pale, red-based neutral to lift the room scheme.

As part of this full house colour consultation, alterations and styling project in Edinburgh's West End, chose neutral 'Flora Macdonald' paint colour to brighten up and create an elegant and warm feeling to the vast living room.

Friday Fact: In Kilmuir Cemetery, just behind
the Museum of Island Life, is a tall
memorial to
‘Preserver of Prince Charles
Edward Stuart‘. Despite the romanticism of the Skye Boat Song, she was a real
and a remarkable person.

It's Summer (supposedly) - but we are really enjoying the earthy, coppery tones of colour 'Winter Bracken' in this lovely garden room in Edinburgh's West End.

This garden room is part of a whole house colour consultation completed recently for a client.

Last year, hosted our first art exhibition in collaboration with the talented artist .
It was a wonderful experience for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed hosting the exhibition in our space.

The exhibition titled '36 Views of Ben Tianavaig' was an Edinburgh debut for , and we are proud to say that it was a success!

Currently, we are in talks with about a second exhibition later this year, which is exciting - keep your eyes out for more information about this exhibition.

Last week, we were delighted to see one of 's paintings in a client's property in Edinburgh's West End. The client commissioned the painting from Caroline after visiting the exhibition at .

As a new client order, we thought it was an opportunity to introduce this wallpaper choice on the grid.

The debut 'Faileasan' (meaning Reflections in Scottish Gaelic) wallpaper collection, was designed by artist and interior designer for with an aspiration to bring the spirit of Skye's natural environment to the interior space and reflect on its enduring power through evocatively abstract and artistic impressions.

After visiting the paint and wallpaper showroom, our client selected the 'Skye Kelp' wallpaper in the Purple Laver colourway for their Edinburgh cloakroom. The hand drawn, sinuous, swaying sea kelp beautifully conveys the movement of the clear Isle of Skye waters.

We have included the complimentary paint colours of Spar Cave and Skye Kelp in the post should you wish to enjoy this interior scheme in your home.

As such a popular colour choice by our clients, we wanted to share a little colour inspiration scheme around the mythical, deep blue-green colour, Milovaig Storm.

We have included a complimentary fabric choice on the board, the soothing purple and teal, Neo-Gothic esque, 'Botanic Blue 2'. A traditional yet contemporary fabric choice to compliment your interior space.

As our minds turn to autumn, we are drawn to a more earthy, muted colour palette - which is why we decided upon one of exclusive colours as our September colour of the month.

'Peat Moss' - a colour inspired by the Scottish Isle of Islay and designed by is an earthy, muted sage green colour tone with hints of olive green, much suited to a natural interior scheme.

Islay as a scheme reflects much of the aromatic and organic flavours of the peat found on the Isle, rich in ancient moss and coastal minerals. If you are a whiskey connoisseur, you will know the distinctive smoky, woody flavours of the world famous Islay whiskies are derived from the locally sourced peat.
