A great evening with Thomas Cuthbert from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.

A fantastic range of whiskies, with the standouts of the evening being the Carn Mor Whisky Benrinnes & Glentauchers, exceptional drams that got the evening off to a great start.

What a great evening last night at The Bank Bar & Tapas Restaurant with our Wine Club.

The food was fantastic as usual, and the wines really complimented the menu.

Well, after Storm Eowyn forced us to postpone our Lochlea Distillery Whisky Tasting last month, we managed to get a new date locked in and thankfully it went ahead without a hiccup!

Special thanks to Alex Ferrand from Lochlea for talking us through the 8 fantastic drams. Really impressed with the diverse range of whisky and the complex flavours for such a young spirit.

Thank you to everyone who attends and supports us as well as the distilleries at these tastings, we hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

£200 was also raised for Spinal Injuries Scotland, the charity that we are supporting at this time, due to Brian raffling a bottle of Springbank Whisky hand-filled from their Distillery shop -Congratulations to James Brown who got the winning ticket and a huge thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets on the night to support this charity.

We hope to see you at the next live tasting, which will be on the 14th of March at the Railway Club, tickets will be due to go on sale soon, so keep an eye on your newsletter updates.
