Our first whisky casks are being filled.

A new distillery is born!

Levenbank Distillery is a small-batch artisanal distillery producing single malt and single grain whiskies filled with flavour. Brought to you by the multi-award winning team at Loch Lomond Brewery, we will be using our brewing background and the guidance of Dr Jack Mayo to produce a signature light and fruity lowland malt complemented by some heavier lightly peated expressions and the occasional homage to triple distillation. Not just relying on pale malt, we will be driving character and flavour through a number of higher kilned barleys from crystal to chocolate malt.

No Dumbarton distillery would be complete without grain whisky and our single grain whiskies will be formed from a number of successful beer recipes we have produced over the years from imperial stouts to barleywines and wee heavies. Rye will also feature in our single grain production and we look forward to creating these grain whiskies with as much love and care as our single malt. Very early days but out in front as the most popular of our gins is our Scottish Raspberry. A delicate pink colour in the bottle but bursting with raspberry flavour.

Introducing our Single Malt Gin.

This gin is made from a barley base that is made from our brewery. It is distilled to retain some subtle hints of the barley that shines through with our carefully selected botanicals including a number of locally sourced ones such as hawthorn, rosehip, birchleaf and sweetmeadow.

Thanks to everyone who came last night to Loch Lomond Brewery Taproom for our launch night. The pink gin and vodka were the favourites on the night.
