Job Vacancy

We have a vacancy for the position of Part-Time Shop Assistant at Winfrith Village Stores.

This vacancy would suit someone looking for a few hours work each week in a friendly shop. Job share would also be considered.

The role is currently to cover around 15 hours per week and also to help cover staff holidays. There may also be extra hours available during the summer period.

Weekend working is an essential part of this role.

The successful applicant should be a team player supporting and working together with the rest of our team here. They should have a welcoming and helpful personality and be confident and able to work alone in the shop dealing with the various demands of a busy shop and post office.

Retail experience is not essential.
Duties include:-

• Serving customers and dealing with queries
• Replenishment of stock and monitoring stock levels
• Dealing with deliveries of supplies to the shop
• Keeping the shop clean and well presented
• Keeping the recycling stations stocked
• Opening and/or closing of the shop

Job Vacancy

We have a vacancy for the position of Part-Time Shop Assistant at Winfrith Village Stores.

This vacancy would suit someone looking for a few hours work each week in a friendly shop. The role is currently to cover around 6-10 hours per week and also to help cover staff holidays. There will be extra hours available during the summer period. Availability for weekend work on a regular basis is essential.

The successful applicant should be a team player supporting and working together with the rest of our team here. They should have a welcoming and helpful personality and be confident and able to work alone in the shop dealing with the various demands of a busy shop.

This post is for working in the shop only but there is the opportunity in the future for the right applicant to train to also work in the Post Office.
