sits in the picturesque Jonkershoek valley on the edge of Stellenbosch town. This serene estate produces outstandingly good value wines at all quality levels. This lovely estate also includes four restaurants and a luxury hotel and spa, making it a must visit when in this part of the cape.

A few more shots from our visit to . The purpose built main building houses an immaculate gravity-fed winery, cellars stacked with French oak barrels and a secret vault housing library stock of every vintage produced in the 25 year history of the winery. (As well as a tasting room, restaurant and art gallery).

Thank you and for a truly fantastic visit to your spectacular winery. A very special place, Tokara, along with other Stellenbosch Royalty, sits in the shadow of Simonsberg Nature Reserve, and artfully produces wines that are elegant, ageworthy and above all, downright delicious!

The Pink Trouser Brigade (shorts in this case) has arrived in Cape Agulhas. Thank you for showing us around and the fabulous lunch in the cellars. An excellent afternoon tasting delicious wines in the most tranquil of settings, rounded off with a bottle of fizz overlooking Walker Bay.

An action packed 24 hours in Crete! Thank you to the fabulous family owned wineries , and .winery for showing us around your little piece of heaven - we loved every minute of the 4x4 vineyard tour, marathon tasting and amazing dinner.

Sadly we’ve been beaten by the weather two weeks in a row! With 30+ MPH gusts and thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon we have decided to cancel Pizza Night this week. Fingers crossed next weeks mini heatwave materialises and we’ll be back serving delicious wood fired pizzas and cracking wines next Wednesday.

After the crushing disappointment of the 4th Ashes Test being washed out we are sorry to bring you more bad news! Pizza Night is cancelled this evening due to an equally depressing forecast. Fingers crossed we’ll be back next week with our friends from for more wood fired fun.
