Dear Shareholders,

Just a gentle reminder that the AGM will be held in the Village Hall this Wednesday 15th May at 19:30 (doors open at 19:00). I have received a large number of apologies and am concerned that we may not reach the necessary quorum of 24 members. So please if it is at all possible come along to the AGM, meet your fellow shareholders and exercise your right to participate in the governance of the shop. As an additional attraction our chair Gill Rawlinson, who is standing down at this AGM, will give a presentation of the plans and status of the new shop building. Gill, who has served as Chair throughout a difficult period in the shop’s history is not leaving us but instead will take on a leading role in managing the new shop project and I urge you to be there to give her a good send off.
