FYI of our customers and others interested.

Disposable V**es which are most 600 puff devices that we mostly retail for £5.50 will be banned and made illegal to sell from April 2025. My personal view is that as most manufacturers are heavily investing in R+D into future V**e Kits and Mods, that will last longer and also be more viable financially and environmentally, I think all disposable flavours currently available in shops will soon phase out by Jan 2025 as suppliers manage their current stock levels.

As such, from June till September, I will be launching promotions on these new products as they lauch for you to pick and choose what Products best suit your needs.

Our current promotions on all Disposables as such will be ending by month end, so if you use us as one of your preferred outlets, please come speak to me, as the more feedback I receive, the more suited I can market products that meet your demands.

Welcome 2024 to all, hope you all brought the New Year in a cheerful way 🥳

So what follows Christmas and New Year's Parties . . . January Blues I'm afraid 🥲 Weather certainly is dreadful, but then again, nothing new about that this time of year, although the Rain can do one 😅

Closing Hours from 02 Jan till 14th will be 7.30pm 7 days a week.

We will then revert back to standard Winter Closing Hours of 8pm 7 days a week.

For those customers who are not familiar with these seasonal hours and why we operate them, they reflect the slower trading period of the year for our business.

New Card Terminal has arrived and active, so all transactions are back to normal

Please be aware we are currently experiecing difficulties processing contactless payments and awaiting a replacement card terminal. So all contactless payments via card and phone will not work.

Until then, we are only able to accept cash payments and chip and pin transactions.

We will provide a further update once business as usual returns.

We would like to wish our neighbour New You Hair and Beauty our warmest wishes for bringing in their 31st Anniversary.

We have known Karen personally for a good 23 years since we first opened our doors to the public; and being not only a community retailer ourselves, but being a member of this community since 1989; I would like to personally extend my warm wishes to Karen and her team.

I wholeheartedly believe that the community of Stenson Fields are very unique in feel and character, and am proud be be both a member of this community, as well as a member of this local business community; which together with these set of shops, also includes The Stenson Fields Pub.

Many congratulations to all that help make this community what it is, and may we all thrive together 🥂

Following on from feedback from our va**rs, I have changed up the prices and promotions on our V**es, to hopefully suit your needs better.

Firstly all Single Use V**es have now been dropped to £5.50, and promtions will now be divided into Weekday (Mon-Thur) and Weekend (Fri-Sun).

Weekday (Mon-Thur)

Any 2 Lost Mary at £10
Any 2 Elfbar at £10
Any 2 SKE Crystal Bar at £10

Weekend (Fri-Sun)

Any 3 Lost Mary at £15
Any 3 Elfbar at £15
Any 3 SKE Crystal Bar at £15

SKE Amare Crystal 2 for £10 will be available all week

These promotions will next be reviewed in October.

What a May it's been, 3 bank holidays for you folks, a new King, great weather to signal the arrival of Summer, and it's not even June yet 🥱😁😆.

Anyhow, I trust the majority of you have enjoyed your time off, and with it being half-term this week with more great weather, we'll all be putting in a bit more effort for you guys by switching back to Summer Hours.

Wed-Sat will now be 8.30pm closes, giving you all that much needed window to dash to your favourite local for . . .

In addition, we continue to be the shop of choice for those customers that still treat us as nothing other than their local 'papershop' or 'cornershop'. Did you know, our Home News Delivery Service is still running after 23 years of Service . . . some achievement.

For Smokers and our growing number of V**ers, I will continue to work hard to ensure good stock availability and range.

So as June approaches, I bid all of our customers, friends, and our community my deepest thanks in shopping with us . . . your support continues to drive me and ensure I get to work on time most mornings, even if coffee has to wait.
