We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team. This position will be based in Barrow, however, the need to work at our other 3 locations may be necessary. The successful candidate will need a full UK driving license to ensure reliability to travel to our other stores for sickness and holiday cover, including last minute cover. Shifts in Dalton & Ulverston may not finish until 10pm if cover is needed in the store. Shift Pattern - Monday-Friday - 10am-6pm Responsibilities: Load and unload products from trucks Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed Cover the shop floor when necessary Qualifications: Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects up stairs Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Past experience in a retail setting Competent with computers including MS packages Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour, age dependent.
