🥇AWARD WINNING WINE🥇

Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé has been awarded 91 points from magazine!

We are proud to be stocking this excellent pink fizz from the one and only Simonsig estate from Stellenbosch in South Africa.

🍾 Made in the traditional method, the same as Champagne where the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle.

🍾 Simonsig ever the pioneers, were the first to do this style of fizz in South Africa back in the 70's.

🍾 Available in our shop at a very reasonable £18.90

🍾 Decanter says : "A blend of 77% Pinot Noir, 22% Pinotage and 1% Pinot Meunier. Elegant, creamy red berry and cherry aromas. There's a nice depth of red berry fruit on the palate, with good persistence to the crisp finish, which is rounded out by subtle toastiness. Plenty of lifted citrus freshness keeps this light on its feet - a lovely aperitif and good value for money, too."

🥂 We have these lovely half bottles of Champagne in from our exclusive import Joly whom we have dealt with for over 40 years.

🥂 The Brut white is made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes and the rosé is made from a blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes.

🥂 The Joly are a family run concern, now in their fifth generation of winemakers and are based in the village of Troissy just west of Epernay. They have 14 hectares of vineyards, 85% of which are Pinot Meunier grapes.

🥂 A perfect gift to put in the stocking for the fizz lover in your life or maybe for a couple of you to share a glass each on Christmas day?
