Just to re-assure people, the Redoubt Festival will be going ahead this year.
Dates are 27-30th July we are open 11-11 Thurs, Fri and Sat. Sunday opening is 12-7.
Got some great beers and ciders lined up,
hot & cold food all sessions.

MusiC Friday night, and quiet music Sat afternoon

Dear customer,

This is just a short communique to let you know what is happening at Harwich Town Brewing co in the very near future.

As you will all know, after losing our home in Harwich in 2019, we moved operations to Red Fox brewery in Coggeshall.

Unfortunately, due to ill-health, Russ is stepping back from Red Fox. He has sold the business to myself and Glenn Ackerman of Witham Brewery.

The combined brewery will be known as WHARF Brewery Ltd.

I started Harwich Town in 2007 and Glenn started Witham Brewery back in 2012 and has 40 years of experience in the on-trade. Together with Fez the brewer, they have over 40 years of brewing know-how between them.

From April, all of the beers produced under the new banner will be vegan, we have put out several batches using vegan-friendly finings and are more than happy with the results.

The current HTBC beers will merge with the existing product lines of the other two constituent breweries. None will disappear forever.

The Redoubt Festival will still go ahead and we hope to see you there on 27th to 30th July

While many of you may be celebrating the "11p duty cut" on beer, as usual, the devil is in the detail. There will not be a cut in duty for draught beer, just a rise in the price of small pack beer - that's cans and bottles and anything below 20Litres. So please don't blame the brewers or publicans when the price of your pint doesn't fall in August
