So each January we ask customers for new stock ideas. So many of them over the years have been really popular; nutritional yeast, flour, pearl barley. But we’ve found that some products don’t move as quick as we like or don’t reach their BB date, so we need to take them off the stock list. Therefore unfortunately this is a notice that we won’t be restocking Red Kidney Beans, Soya Beans and Black Turtle Beans. This might be temporary; previously we’ve stopped getting an item and then such has the demand been for it to return that it’s then become a top seller, such as Hazelnuts and H**p Seeds! So if you want any of the pictured items before they sell out this is your warning! Open 10-2 tomorrow 💚

Earlier this week dropped off a restock of her beautiful Hand Warmers. They’re easy to use; simply pop them in the microwave with an egg cup half-filled with water and they’ll keep your hands toasty on a chilly day like today - great when going out for a walk! This morning we had a customer who visited to pick some travel-friendly hair and body wash while also being eco-friendly as regulated by the country they were visiting. So my immediate recommendation had to be a travel bar. We have three choices, all of which are suitable for washing hair, body and even clothes! So if you’re in the middle of nowhere in Africa it’s the perfect product! We have used them as a family for years and they really do work. So if you’re going on a little get away in the near future with limited packing space then bare these in mind!

Nearly all of our refillers on Monday and Tuesday had no idea there’s 15% off all liquid refills this month! It’s part of the campaign to encourage those who have never tried refilling before to give it a go; maybe start with your washing up liquid? Bring that bottle when it’s nearly empty (or any bottle you like!) and we’ll get it refilled for you, rather you buying another new bottle and the old one ending up in the recycling bin where it has 91% chance of NOT being recycled at all! As you know, here at Reed’s Refillery we hate waste. Therefore when one of our bath bomb stockists offered the opportunity to sell on their “wonky” bath bombs at a reduced price we thought it was great! Therefore I have put together some packs of 3 or 5 “mystery” bath bombs - £4 for the three pack and £6.50 for the 5 pack - bargain! Only while stocks last. Open ‘till 4:30pm today 😊

👋🏻 HELLO 👋🏻 …which I know is a strange thing to say at the end of the day, but with it being a new year I thought it’d be a good idea to re-introduce myself and the shop, especially given we’ve had so many new customers and followers recently. My name is Steph and I’m the owner of Reed’s Refillery. We’re based right in Chorley town centre and will celebrate our three year anniversary in April; it has FLOWN by! The video shows a snap shot of what the shop is all about: refilling your household goods, plastic-free swaps and gorgeous products by other small businesses. We’ve got so many exciting plans for this year so we hope to welcome you soon if you haven’t visited before and we hope to excite our regulars when we’re able to share what’s happening behind the scenes! 🎄 MORNING 🎄 I was a busy bee in the shop yesterday afternoon putting the table back and generally reorganising the stock. I thought it would be useful to make a little video showing all the wonderful festive stock we have left while I was there! 💚 DRY SHAMPOO 💚 A couple of months ago I began stocking Dry Shampoo by Scrubber. Why? Unlike most commercial dry shampoos that use aerosols, plastic packed packaging and a list of chemicals, Scrubber dry shampoo uses effective natural ingredients that are kind to your scalp and kind to nature. The ethically sourced powers and clays that make up our dry shampoo banish greasy looking roots and are mildly antibacterial, making your hair feel and look fresh. The scent is mild but fragrant, making your hair smell fresh and floral, without it being a constant intrusion for your nose! Packaged in cardboard, recyclable shakers, our dry shampoo is plastic (and guilt) free! I gave it a go - see the video to find out what I thought!

💚 MORNING 💚 If a make-up-less Steph is not what you need first thing in the morning then look away now 😂 I love the new Peptide Serum by UpCircle so much that I’ve made a video showing how to use it, how it feels, and how it benefits my skin. And then the Night Cream did a cameo too! What I forgot to mention was the other benefit of this serum; it can be refilled - the other brand cannot. Oh and a blooper that was missed when the video finished - I KNOCKED OVER THE EYE CREAM ON TO THE FLOOR 🤦🏻‍♀️ A good deed never goes unpunished!

🎄🍰 XMAS CAKES 🍰🎄 I’ve had a few messages asking about what the Christmas Cake packs look like/how they’re made up so I thought I’d put together a little video to show you! Along with the recipe, you are given bags of each ingredient - weighed to the gram! They’re all then ready to mix together at home with the butter etc! I’ve honestly lost count of how many we’ve made so far and how many we have to go but I’m really loving it this year! Drop me a DM if you would like more details or to order one. 🎄EXTRA DATES 🎄 Woah! Today has been MENTAL! I cannot believe all the October dates for the Christmas Cake mixes booked up in one morning! So after talking to the team we’ve decided to open up bookings between Thurs 26-Sat 28th Sept and Tues 22-Sat 26 October. We do still have lots of dates available in November and the first week in December. Just drop me a DM and we’ll get a slot sorted.
