We are still looking for the right candidate
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Post Office Assistant to work in our lovely Village Shop.
Applicant must either live locally or have own transport due to rural location.
• Candidate must be 21 plus as will be serving alcohol to the public unattended.
• Preferably with customer service or retail experience.
• Candidate must be IT literate and numerate as will be taking payments and paying bills for customers.
• Must have good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Post office experience is preferred although training will be given.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Minimum 16 hours per week, plus holiday & sickness cover.
• Must be prepared to work evenings till 7.30pm and weekends.
Will work in a Community Post Office within a Busy Village Shop. Duties include retail, taking payments, paying bills and customer service. Successful applicant will require a DBS check (formerly CRB), the cost of which will be met by the employer.

Additional Bus Service. There is now a bus service leaving Higher Kinnerton at 6.52pm (in Dodleston at 7pm) for Chester city centre which may be useful for some. The service is subject to the Government’s fare cap, so the maximum single fare until October 2024 will remain at just £2.00.
