We are looking for a part time shop assistant for Stoke Orchard village community shop.

Initially temporary cover at weekends, from 24 January to 9 March plus some prior training.
Friday 8.30 to 1.30
Saturday 8.30 to 4.30
Sunday 8.30 to 1.30

You must be over 18. Hourly rate £11.44.

Responsibilities include opening and closing the shop and providing a friendly and welcoming service. Our staff love meeting new people and are a valued part of the community.

There may be a permanent role available from March with hours spred across the week.

We're sorry to soon be saying goodbye to Jo who has worked in the shop for many years.

Jo has helped to develop the shop from it's small beginnings, provided a friendly welcome and always supported our community.

Jo's last day will be 19th December. We will all miss her and want to say a huge thank you for all she has done. Jo moves on to her family adventure with our very best wishes.

It's Christmas raffle time. Thanks to some very generous donations we have not one, not two but THREE gorgeous food and drink hampers plus a 4th prize of greeting cards to last through the year.

Raffle tickets are only £1 each. Increase your chances of winning by buying a strip of 5. All proceeds go towards keeping our lovely shop open.

Part time job opportunity in Stoke Orchard.
We are looking for a part time shop assistant to join our friendly team in our community store.
Around 15 hours a week plus holiday cover. Includes morning shift (8.30 start), evening (finish at 7pm) and some weekend shifts. Responsilities include opening and closing shop, friendly welcoming service in store and coffee shop. As a lone worker you must be over 18. Hourly rate £11.44.

***GREAT NEWS***
So pleased and relieved to announce the Coffee Machine is back up and running!
It’s been out of action for 7 weeks and has certainly caused a financial shortfall in the shop as well as it being a very frustrating time!
Please support us by purchasing hot drinks again and produce!
