Morning All

You can tell its Autumn when the shop's light goes on in the morning, there are leaves in the window as well as on the shop floor and Colins got his Guy Fawkes costume on 🍂🍁🍂🍁

More importantly, we will be holding our annual Marshmallows and Mulled Wine do on the 31st of October! 🧙‍♀️💀🦇

Morning All

If you are heading off for a bit of winter sun or planning a trip and want to top up your Travel Money Card, there is a flash sale on today for Euros and Dollars

This means you can apply for a TMC or top up your existing card with a minimum of £10 and get the enhanced rate usually only available over £700

The saving could mean that extra round in the bar or a lovely something at the bazaar!

Morning All

A plea please!!!

Wherever possible can I ask you to pay with cash in the shop. If you have a debit card and none on you, you can draw it out from the post office

This way we can reduce our credit card fees, which currently would feed a family of 4 for a month! Getting the cash out would be a double whammy as it would earn me a little more on PO revenue

Reminder - this is from this coming Monday

I make this announcement with the very large caveat of

DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER

Today Royal Mail have announced that they will be putting their prices up from the 7th of October. Below is a summary of the most regularly used posting options and nearer the time I will have the full prices booklet.

1st class standard letter stamps are going up by 30p. No change to 2nd class standard letter stamp as they are under a price cap

If you regularly use 1st class stamps, and also with Christmas not that far around the corner, I would recommend starting to stockpile them now

Please remember it is Royal Mail putting the prices up not the Post Office and please don't shout at me or Tracey - we cry easily 🤣
