We are currently unable to print lables for parcels being sent, if you are able to print lables at home we suggest you do this and we can then take them still. Not much we can do as the printer has died on a Sunday when nothings open 🤦‍♀️ this affects Collect+, DHL, Yodel and InPost only!
UPS is unaffected. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully have it fixed/replaced early this week 🤞

Dear valued bookbugs...

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the Chard Bookshop, at the end of this January. As some of you may already know, it's become an increasing struggle to support the business and keep it going for the community, even with our best efforts. 📚🥺🛍️

Despite the various challenges of running an independent bookshop, we're incredibly proud of how long we've lasted. We've had the most amazing last 6 years, providing Chard with it's book needs and want to say a massive thank you to those who showed their unwavering support and love for books - you're all the reason we've stayed open this far! 🙏😇

The encouragement of the Chard community has meant the world to us, and we are deeply thankful for every visit, every purchase, and every kind word shared. We will be running reduced opening hours in January with our shop open on FRIDAY & SATURDAYS ONLY. Stay tuned for some enormous discounts in-store while we focus on reducing our stock and we hope to see you before we close our shop door for the last time too! 🤗✨
