None stand out more that Taylor's Port. The story of Taylor's Port begins in 1692 with the arrival in Portugal of an English merchant called Job Bearsley.
Taylor's vintage Ports are renowned for their massive structure, concentration of flavour and distinctively masculine style. This great Port house is also renowned for being amongst the longest lived of all ports.
Taylor's, which remains an independent family-run business since its inception around 300 years ago, is also the market brand leader. It is one of the earliest shippers to acquire vineyards to produce the wine themselves, rather than merely buying from winemakers and then maturing it, thus ensuring a name synonymous with quality.

Auntsfield Single Vineyard is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the prestigious Marlborough region of the South Island of New Zealand. The 2019 vintage made the prestigious Air NZ Fine Wines of New Zealand List and was rated 5 stars by Sam Kim.
Fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed and fermented in seasoned oak barrels, adding texture and length to the wine.

The Ryder Cup takes place at Whistling Straits Golf Course this weekend so the team at Cadman Fine Wines thought we'd play our own game of Europe vs United States.
The easiest place to look would be the repeat of " The Judgement of Paris - The Legendary wine tasting where a Californian Cabernet managed to comfortably beat the greats from Bordeaux. However, we thought it would be time to give two different heavyweights an opportunity to battle it out Ryder Cup Style
So team Europe is wheeling out an Italian icon - Antinori's Solaia 2004. 🇪🇺
Team USA is pitching an old favourite for this match-up - Dominus Estate 2004. 🇺🇸
We've chosen the same vintage to ensure the fairest competition possible
(some might say quite unlike the Ryder Cup course selection).
The wines even have the same scoring from the critics: 97 points from Antonio Galloni for Solaia and 97 points from Robert Parker for the Dominus.
Everywhere we look, it's hard to pick a winner as both these wines are outstanding examples of Cabernet blends made in tiny quantities. Both come from fantastic terroir with Solaia being from the sunniest portion of the famed Tignanello vineyard and Dominus being from the volcanic soils of the Napanook vineyeard.
We'll probably have to call it a draw but if you wanted to come to your own conclusion - we do have a limited number of bottles of each in stock.

Château Veyry is a garage wine – a term used to describe production that could fit into a garage. It is also literally a garage wine, comprising a battered old garage housing two battered old Citroens and disguising a small high-tech winery!
Its secret combines the genius of winemaker Christian Veyry with 4 hectares of south-facing vines that are a direct continuation of the limestone ridge upon which the great Saint-Émilions are based. And Château Veyry is certainly in the same rich vein as this classic Bordeaux style, without the price premium of its more famous neighbours. Remarkable wines from an unremarkable shed.
