Good evening all! Many of you will have noticed that we have been having significant problems with our current premises. This has led to us really struggling to operate our business and we have been forced to close quite frequently. We have therefore decided to move from our current spot.

We haven’t yet found our new premises, however we will need to close shop from this Saturday. We will keep you all up to date with our new plans!!

We will be open tomorrow (Wednesday), Thursday and Saturday this week from 10am until 6pm with our relocating sale 🚨🚨🚨

This is the setup for tonight’s event. This evening is the organic wine theme; our guests are in for a real treat!

We have a group of 8, a group of 3, and a group of 2. All ready for an intimate evening of wine tasting, guided by our winemaker!

A short presentation on vineyards and wine making, wine tasting, all accompanied with gorgeous platters of cheese and charcuterie!

Good wine + good food = great times!

Here at The wine Hut, we pride ourselves on promoting wines from all over the world 🌍

We can’t help but notice that Spanish wines have really levelled up in terms of quality in recent years, and made huge advances in their organic and vegan ranges. At the same time keeping their prices very accessible to all….

Rioja, Jumilla, Verdejo… the options are endless.

Come Wine With Me @ The Wine Hut 🥂🍷

A sneak peak into what our evenings include….

On the menu this evening was a platter of French cheeses and charcuterie from Trealy Farm Charcuterie.

The cheeses: Bleu d’Auvergne, délice de Bourgogne, tome de Savoie, rondelles de fromage de chèvre.

The charcuterie: smoked paprika chorizo, wild boar salami, air dried Monmouthshire ham, kassler loin ham.

All served with crudités and dips, olives and a selection of bread.

YUM 😋

I can’t divulge anything about tonight’s wines as the chosen theme is “blind tasting mystery” and I can’t give away any clues 😉

The traditional wines of the Beaujolais region in France are sometimes overlooked and forgotten due to the massive popularity of the Beaujolais Nouveau festival. We think this is a real shame; true Beaujolais wines are wonderfully complex and delightful to drink. They have nothing in common with the young Beaujolais wines we drink each November.

The reds are made primarily with the Gamay grape variety and the whites with mainly Chardonnay.

We are big fans of these Beaujolais wines, the Colette is our favourite though 😉
