We have just released a mixed case of Valencian wines to help raise money for the disaster fund. For every case sold we will donate £20.

Many of you will know of my association with Valencia, having been living here part time for over four and a half years. I am over here now, and whilst where we are is unaffected and our property is fine, for many, many thousands that is not the case. The devastation is unbelievable, truly shocking, not just the tragic loss of so many lives. It's going to take a very long time for many communities to begin to recover. What's for sure is that finacial aid is imperative. We will be donating £20 per case sold directly to the fund.
So you can help by buying this case, not only will you get 6 fabulous wines from the Valencia region, all of which have had great press, (including wines from two wineries who have been badly affected by the floods- Mustiguillo in Utiel and Bruno Murciano close to Utiel) but you will helping the people of the Valencia region at the same time..

What a fantastic evening of wine, food, and great company!

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting Thomas Webb from Thelema winery, all the way from Stellenbosch, South Africa, for an unforgettable tasting at our wine bar. Guests enjoyed a selection of their wines, from the rich Chardonnay to bold Merlot and Cabernet, perfectly paired with delicious tapas plates.

We are delighted to be welcoming old friend Tim Kerruish from Folding Hill Wines in Central Otago, New Zealand. We have been selling his wines since they started (or pretty close to that date), and the current releases are looking great. This will be a predominantly a RED WINE tasting with just the one white wine. The reds are all Pinot Noir's.

We are delighted to be welcoming Thomas Webb from the legendary Thelema winery in Stellenbosch, they also have the Sutherland winery in the cool climate Elgin. We have been selling the wines for over 25 years! They make a huge range of wines including the fabulous Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet, plus some Rhone styles.

Wines will be accompanied by a selection of small plates/tapas dishes.

Please note, as this is a tasting rather than a dinner, we may place groups of one or two people onto bigger tables to make sure we maximise the space, opening the event to as many people as possible.

Awesome to try the new releases from the Tondonia Blanco Reserva 201: was lovely and complex however getting to try the the 3 latest releases Gran Reserva’s from 2004 was a real treat. The 2004 Blanco Gran Reserva is simply stunning and so fresh, incredibly complex and nutty. The 2 Tinto Gran Reserva 2004’s were also amazing the Tondonia whilst showing age in the nose was actually quite tight - the Bosconia more Burgundian and open - quite delicious. These are unique wines that break many of the rules in terms of their elevage spending 10 years in barrel 10 years in bottle before release! Our offer on these will be out soon but don’t blink as they will sell out very fast!

Fabulous tasting of the new 2021 single vineyard Chardonnay’s and the 2022 Russian River Chardonnay from the outstanding this morning. We have been selling these wines for at least 20 years I reckon and they have never been better. All outstanding -the Russian River bottling is delicious as ever and as often the Rochioli vineyard my favourite of the vineyard bottlings. These are rich, yet incredibly fresh wines with fabulous acidity. Stunning on release these wines will age and drink for 20 years. Sadly we don’t have much left !!
