Hello all,
‘It’s beginning to feel a lot like…..’ So as it’s December it is probably time to let you know about all the lovely wines we have on offer this festive season. Please feel free to download below via the twitter link. If you do fancy putting in an order please can we have it by Dec 12th that way we’ll be able to box it all up for you and have it ready for about the 16th.

Lots of offers and some very keen prices on ports etc. . One new addition is a selection chosen by Jim, for those of you who don’t know Jim is now managing the Mill Rd shop and is doing a storming job. He is developing our fine wine offerings and you can always rely on him to find some vinous gems.

Other news is that we have a new member of staff at the Victoria Rd shop. Many of you will already have met Ben, his enthusiasm and charm is the perfect fit for Bacchanalia.

Props to the M&S Cheese Tasters, opened on Christmas Eve and the last bowl still has loads of crunch, daren't look at the ingredients. Goes really well with the Pask Chardonnay! Happy new year all. Hope you've had a lovely time. We're back open tomorrow, and as ever at the start of the year, planning to loose weight and then gain world domination.

I passed Bacchanalia tonight as I do often on my way home and decided to pop in and take a picture of Paul who always waves at me. 'Thanks' I said 'I'll put it up on A Cambridge Diary' - 'What's that?' he said. I explained as best I could and he told me that he didn't really do social media. I asked him how he marketed himself, he said 'I put good wines on the shelf and try to be nice to the customers'.
