We look at some of the difficulties faced by small brands when trying to scale up whilst retaining what makes them unique and authentic, and also the struggle of making a drink from honey, which happens to be one of the most counterfeit foods on the globe.

It's Swarming season! A combination of a cold and wet start to spring, combined with the occasional hot day has the bees feeling pent up, raising lots of new queens and getting ready to swarm. As usual at this time of the year, Matt is out catching wild swarms!

🌍 Happy Earth Day! Today seems like a great day to re-introduce our special edition Traditional Mead we brewed in Collaboration with Bees for Development charity in Monmouth! This delicious Mead is brewed to the exact same recipe as our (Golden Fork Award winning 😏) Traditional Mead, but uses 100% Zambian forest honey! Though the recipe is the same, it has got a completely different flavour, as you'd expect from such a unique honey!
🧀 This mead pairs fantastically well with smoked cheese, and cooked fruit desserts 👌
We launched this in November to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bees For Development, and the fantastic work they do.
