We will be open from 10.00 to 15.00 tomorrow, Sunday May 12th, as it's Bungay's famous Garden Street Market. We will also be hosting a stall next door with plants, flower pots, wooden wine boxes and bric a brac. Great prices there but please bring cash.

Open for tasting today we have the perfect wine for this strange season which is still clinging onto winter. Beautifully Beaujolais, light but bursting with flavours of red fruit and berries. Come in out of the cold and try some.

This week on the tasting barrel we've got this glorious Graciano from Damien Tscharke in the Barossa Valley. It's full of juicy dark fruits with a touch of spice and would be perfect with charcuterie and cheese, but don't just take our word for it, come in and try.

We've got this Australian Montepulciano on taste today and it is impressively delicious. It should be £19.95 but if you buy it in the shop right now we'll let you have a bottle for only £16.00, the sunshine has gone to our heads!

This is part of our 'local produce' section featuring wines from Flint Vineyard and a colourful row of beers from Bull of the Woods, including the award winning Season of the Witch - that's the purple label 💜. We've just restocked but they always sell out fast so we're not expecting to have a full shelf for long, especially now they're famous!

Nestling in the midst of our modest selection of spirits we have a few bottles of whisky from The English Whisky Distillery. Based in Norfolk they have just won the award for 'The World's Best Single Malt Whisky', not their first award by any means but definitely the most prestigious - Congratulations!

The shop is full of wonderful wines for Easter, we have something to go with everything- even chocolate!
Closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday but open on Saturday with bottles open to taste.

Having only just told you that from now on we're going to close on Mondays we've also decided that we're not going to open on Tuesdays either! The Tuesday closure is only a temporary measure however, just until the end of the month while Su is wine tasting in sunnier climes.

We were sorry to say goodbye to the troll and the penguins but, alas, life goes back to normal and so do we with the exception that from now on the shop will be closed on Sundays and MONDAYS too so that our staff can have a weekend off, we do hope you don't mind.

It's Christmas Street Market Day here in Bungay and we are OPEN until 2 and have some of our wonderful wooden wine boxes for sale. Only £5.00 each, they make great presents or hampers to put your presents in.

We are open today until 4.00 pm but closed Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday too. It's a beautiful day in Bungay and the market is in full swing so come into town and do some shopping!

Please excuse the awful photo of the very hand made sign currently stuck on our door! We will be closed tomorrow morning but open again in the afternoon. We hope we'll never need to use our first aid skills but we're brushing up on them, just in case.

Today we spotted a lone welly boot at the top of our drive and then later found its mate in the churchyard. They are now reunited by the railings and waiting to be claimed.

Trinity Street is closed until tomorrow but we are still open! To access us by road it is possible, and permitted, to drive the 'wrong' way up the street from the Staithe Road end. It's blissfully peaceful outside but we are missing our Friday customers so do try to make it through if you can or come on foot.
