Hello Bruton. After seven years running the Post Office it is time to find a new business to host this great service. Interested operators should look on the Run a Post Office website for details of the opportunity. We expect there to be competition to host it, so don’t delay. Our decision has been driven by medical reasons and we know you will respect our privacy in this matter. In the meantime the Post Office will operate as normal.

We really enjoyed summoning up the Spirit of Christmas last night, the event raised £820 for community facilities at St. Mary's Church Bruton.

Sorry Bruton, we have had to temporarily reduce our opening hours due to a number of staff self-isloating. Thankfully all our team are well. We will now open at 9:00am Monday to Sunday. We close at 7:00pm except Sudays which is 5:00pm. We hope to be back to normal on Monday 9th August.

Our telephone line is currently out of order. This is due to BT and installation errors dating back to September 2020. Their latest attempt at installing a cloud based system has left our vulnerable persons (phone based) home delivery service without a phone line. Top marks BT.
