Last day in Bordeaux for team DBM - another successful & productive trip. For all the glamour and prestige of the region, there is an incredible amount of hard work, passion and fine detail that goes into making the incredible wines here.

Back to Bristol for us to collect our thoughts (and sleep!). Lots of fantastic wine to offer next week!

It's now out, Bollinger Grand Anne 2015! 🍾
This wine is exclusively vinified in small oak barrels. Bollinger has never abandoned this traditional craft method, which helps develop aromas and great finesse. After a prolonged ageing on its lees, every bottle of La Grande Anne Is riddled and disgorged by hand.
We still have a few bottles in our shop in Clifton.

we had the pleasure to host a cocktail tasting with the amazing expertise from the team and .co
It couldn't go any better! A welcoming spritz, vermouth, triple sec, few whisky and a couple of cocktails to wrap up the night helped a bit to keep our customers happy!
Again, a special thank you for the amazing job carried out by Michael from Compass Box, Mike and Louis from Aperitivo & co. - they put together such an amazing event, educational and fun at the same time! The outstanding quality of their products helped in the process as well!

We have been sampling a couple of Pinot Gris head to head with different sugar levels, both fantastic and suited for different occasions! Followed up by the great field blend from Hugel, a really polished wine and true representation of the region.

West Sonoma Coast is THE place for racy, elegant, fresh Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We visited Hirsch Vineyard in Fort Ross Seaview AVA - a stunning spot. Yields are minute, the wines are uneconomic but utterly delicious.
