A new addition to the ever popular XROS series is the refined Vaporesso Xros Pro. The Pro kit features a screen displaying battery percentage, puff count and mode setting. Powered by a quick charging 1200mAh battery, you can expect a full recharge in just 35minutes!

It may be a Pro model but Xros Pro is easy to use and fuss free. Equipped with Smart technology, it recognises the coil resistance of your pod and adjusts the wattage for you.

In this day and age we are all more conscious of our carbon footprint and how our daily habits and lifestyles impacts the environment around us. We all know how easy it is to recycle our household waste but when it comes to recycling your used v**e products what is the best way to go about it?

Some retailers now have recycling bins especially for used disposable v**es -
We have a recycling bin for disposable v**es in our Bristol based store.

When disposing of a reusable v**e you can recycle it with other small electrical items - and if the battery is removable you can recycle this separately - Either with your usual recycling collection in a clear bag (depending on your local council authority) or at your local recycling centre.

Lets talk about Battery Safety.

There are many different types of v**e kits on the market today, most of which have internal batteries with their own integrated safety features.

Generally higher powered Sub-Ohm kits use removable batteries such as 18650 and 21700 cells. Majority of these devices have integrated safety features also. However most users will utilise multiple sets of batteries and when these cells are not installed into your device should be handled, charged and stored safely.

Firstly always keep your batteries in a protective case when not in use and NEVER put loose batteries in your pocket.

Ensure the plastic battery wrap and insulator are undamaged. Do not use batteries which have damage to the wrap and/or insulator. A damaged wrap doesn't mean a dead battery as batteries can easily be re-wrapped.

It is recommended that the batteries used in pairs are the same brand and purchased at the same time. They should be used and re-charged as a pair.

Using an external battery charger helps to ensure batteries are charged balanced. Charging batteries through a mod/device can unbalance batteries which can put extra load on a single battery and could lead to venting.

It is recommended to always read the manufacturer’s recommendations prior to charging.

Always recycle your batteries correctly - Never throw them in the bin!

Worry not, we have another one ready on standby! In under 2 weeks our customers and the people of Bristol have been dropping in with their discarded Disposable V**es to be recycled.

We have also seen a big uptake in customers switching from disposables to a reusable kit, saving them money and reducing the environmental impact of disposable v**es.

We have Disposable V**e Recycling Bins in our Bristol Store!

As you may have seen in the news lately disposing of your disposable v**es isn't as straight forward as popping it in the bin and doing so could be dangerous after a bin lorry could have caught fire in a town close to Bristol. Fortunately thanks to quick thinking waste collection workers this was avoided but the potential outcome could have been worse.

Disposable v**es are classed as mixed electrical waste products and therefore need to be disposed of properly.

It is suggested that you can put your discarded v**es in a clear plastic bag and placed into your recycling box for collection. Although this may vary between different council authorities so please check with your local authority before doing so. Alternatively you can recycle them at your local recycling centre or drop them into our in-store recycling box.

We have discussed before the environmental impact of disposable v**es and how by switching to a reusable kit will save you money and the environment.
