🚨 THEFT REPORT 🚨 Probably our worst one yet!!

We’re starting to feel like a broken record!💔

Theft across all of our stores is becoming an issue again, which seems to be a pattern for this time of year.

We want to make it very clear that we have no issue tackling these thieves head on and we won’t be quiet on this ongoing issue that affects us, and so many other retailers, so much.

The two men that can be seen in this video stole a trolley’s worth of meat, chocolate and more.

We will put close up shots of their faces and the car they used in the comments. If anyone recognises these people, PLEASE private message us any information you may have on them.

THEY DID IT!!!🤩 Some of our TOUT'S team completed Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday and every single one of them SMASHED IT 😎

Everyone made it across the line and with some pretty impressive times too!👏

Although...we've got some very sore legs in the TOUT'S Stores and Head Office this week 🤣

They've managed to raise an incredible £1,821 so far, with donations still live! All money will go to local families in food poverty 💗

The final figure is in! 🤩 Turns out counting money buckets by hand takes longer than anticipated... 😆 On a serious note;

TOUT'S Food Fest 2024 raised an incredible £1,500 which is an additional 5,999 meals for local families in food poverty 💙

We're completely overwhelmed by the support the event received from the local community at the end of July this year. We want to say the BIGGEST thank you to all of our fabulous customers that supported the event and donated. Also, to our local suppliers that exhibited and donated a percentage of their takings for another year, enabling us to donate this incredible amount of money to our charity partner FareShare South West. The work they do day in and day out is incredible and we're very proud to be part of something that has such a huge impact.

A provisional date for your diaries... 👀 TOUT'S Food Fest 2025 is set to take place on Friday 25th July 🥳

Again, a huge thank you to every single person that attended, supported and donated. Here's to continuing to fight local food poverty 💙

WE'RE RUNNING Cardiff Half Marathon IN 1 WEEK!! 😆 🏃

There will be 11 of us running Cardiff Principality Half Marathon on Sunday 6th October to try and raise £5,000 for our MADL fund (Making A Difference Locally) that we run through our fabulous wholesaler NisaLocally, to help provide meals for local families in food poverty, in partnership with FareShare South West.

Over 14 million people in the UK live in poverty, of which 8.3 million are working age adults, 4.6 million are children and 1.6 million are of pension age. We are 100% committed to making a positive change to those figures in our local communities.

THANK YOU!😁 TOUT'S Food Fest 2024 🎉

"I want to start by saying a HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful suppliers, customers and especially to our own team for an amazing TOUT’S Food Fest. We were blown away by the attendance (over 2100, which is 1000 more than 2023!) but also by all the positive feedback, the support has been overwhelming.

Our Food Fest was born out of an idea to provide a fun community event where we provide free food to all who attended; in-line with our Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity, where our goal is to provide one million meals to local families in need. We fund these events ourselves and only ask our suppliers to make a donation for their pitch fee: all of which, along with all other money raised, we donate to FareShare South West.

There was a huge amount of planning behind the scenes for this, which started back in January and months of time has been put into making this event as good as it possibly could be. We wanted to make this year bigger and better than previous events, with more stalls, decorations, freebies and activities for the whole family. Our team at The Maple cooked delicious, restaurant quality food for everyone that came and it’s fair to say it was a fun, enjoyable afternoon.

That’s not to say we can’t improve things for the future and don’t already have a big list of ideas on what we could do differently next year, as we’ll be stepping it up again 😉 One biggie for our local residents was parking, which we thought we’d fixed with having doubled parking capacity on last year, advertising where to park and lots of parking attendants (plus lots of people arrived by bus due to the free travel on the day), but I know it was extremely busy and there were some issues. We have already had a kind offer to increase parking further next year and we’ll also staff Pound Green to prevent customers from parking there.

It was brilliant to see so many of you last week and to see the fun everyone was having. We are collecting our donations and will update you on how many meals we have been able to provide for local families in food poverty through FareShare. Thank you for 2024 and here’s to 2025!”

On Sunday 6th October 2024, 15 members of TOUT'S Group will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise a minimum of £5,000 for our MADL fund (Making A Difference Locally), to help provide meals for local families in food poverty.

Over 14 million people in the UK live in poverty, of which 8.3 million are working age adults, 4.6 million are children and 1.6 million are of pension age. We are 100% committed to making a positive change to those figures in our local communities.

How do we normally raise funds for MADL?💗 When a customer purchases a product from our local supplier, Co-op or Heritage ranges, a percentage of that goes into our MADL fund.
