I am pleased to announce that absolutely NONE of our sticks of rock come from anywhere outside of the UK!

Having once owned our own factory in Blackpool, we firmly believe in tradition and values. Our sticks of rock will continue to be British!
Fresh, crunchy, traditional British rock, as it should be!

We ain't going anywhere, nor is our British rock! 😉

Manufacturers want Blackpool rock to get the same status as Stilton cheese and Cornish clotted cream.

Remember the days when Brighton rock used to just be a small selection of flavours? The traditional ones being mint, fruit, humbug and aniseed...
Well luckily, we still do those! Why get rid of traditional flavours?!
But fast forward to 2023 and we currently have 38 different flavours in! And that's just the selection we've chosen... I'm pretty sure they can make any flavour these days 🤔

Rock has come a long way since then, and I'm here for it 👌

We get asked a lot why we claim to be the World Famous Brighton Rock Shop, so here's a bit of our history!

The shops were opened up in the late 70s by my grandparents who kept them successfully running until the early 2000s when my parents took over. Prior to my parents taking over, they actually ran a rock shop out in Magaluf! I was but a kiddo when that happened so I don't remember too many details but I do remember the location being in what is now called Magaluf square, situated behind BCM.
Back then, there were only a small handful of shops in the square, us being one of them!

Anyway, fast forward to today! My parents have incredibly and successfully kept the business running for a further 20odd years!

And now, it's my turn, here's to another 20 years of the best rock shop around!

So, back to the beginning, why are we the World Famous Brighton Rock Shop?

Because we know exactly what we're doing, we know what Rock should be and what it certainly shouldn't be (please don't be told Rock is supposed to be soft unless it's labelled soft...) our rock is guaranteed freshness, guaranteed to shatter if you drop it so please be careful!
We have customers who come back every single year for a stick of proper Brighton Rock! We have customers who buy a bagful of rock to take it back to their friends and family all over the world!

We do it all!
Conferences, wholesale, weddings, personalised, you name it!

Just one of the many reasons to take a trip to Brighton over the winter months 🤗

Up to 40,000 starlings have been known to appear by the now derelict West Pier, arriving from as far away as Scandinavia to winter here.

This is a photo I managed to grab last night, definitely not 40,000 but still a fascinating thing to watch!

Well, I hate to break it to you (...I don't really 😉) but we have at LEAST 35 different flavours in stock including the traditional flavours of course.

Vegans! We gotchu!

Although our rock is vegan, we know that it's not everyone's cuppa tea, don't worry, I'm not offended....much 🥺

Well well well, here we are!

The World Famous Brighton Rock Shop was established over 45 years ago!
We were the first rock shop to open up along Brighton Seafront and to this day, both of our shops remain amazingly popular with tourists and locals alike!

Originally started up by Chris Cattlin, and then taken over by my grandparents and then my parents, and soon to be me!

We supply wholesale locally as well as personalised rock for occasions such as weddings or conferences etc.
