With the weather turning miserable it’s a good time to remember that there’s an estimated £2 billion of unclaimed Pension Credit available. The Post Office have joined with Citizen Advice Bureau to offer information to help with winter fuel payments for pensioners and those on low income. The Parish Council have also dropped off some leaflets from the Peabody Trust with numbers to ring for guidance about how to claim. Pop in and pick up a leaflet if you know of someone who might benefit.
There’ll also be a team from the Witham Hub attending the Monday coffee mornings at the Guildhall until Christmas and they’re also able to offer help and guidance.
