FATHER'S DAY

Hi all. We have had quite a few calls and enquiries about REVELRY DAY.
Just for clarity and for those of you who have our Father's Day event in your rolling diary... (thank you for that!!)

WE ARE NOT HOSTING REVELRY DAY THIS YEAR (2024).

We are taking a break this year but there will be a REVELRY DAY next year on Sunday 15th June.

We will be offering in-store discounts for on-site shop purchases next week (Sat 8th-Sat 15th June) so if the 'DAD' in your life kicks off about not being taken to Revelry Day you can still appease him with a beery gift from Bishop Nick! 😉

It's a big weekend in Thaxted, it's the Thaxted Morris Men's annual weekend of dance.
Lots of teams will be joining in the fun and dancing at local pubs on Saturday.
There's great beer to be enjoyed in Thaxted (ours, of course!) at The Maypole, the Swan Hotel and courtesy of the Morris Men.
Many of the pubs on the tour are also serving Bishop Nick beer, so why not enjoy a cheeky pint while they entertain you.
In the evening, there will be a procession to Town Street, massed dancing, followed by the ancient, ritual Abbots Bromley Horn Dance at 22.15
