At the heart of this limited edition lies the highly sought-after Islay single malt, Port Ellen. This 'ghost' distillery shut its doors back in 1983. Sitting low on the waters edge of Kilnaughton Bay, watched over by the four-sides of the Carraig Fhada lighthouse and the occasional glow from the Northern Lights, the Port Ellen distillery is now silent, but the memory of the ships setting sail with their precious cargo of smoky single malt whisky lingers on within each bottle. 🥃
