WE ARE HIRING!

Retail assistant 16 hours per week.

Flexibility - willing to work some evening, weekend or early morning shifts.

We are looking to recruit 2 part-time retail assistant. The position is a permanent part time position, subject to a probationary period.

Previous retail experience is preferred.

Pay, working hours and benefits:
Wages in line with government minimum wage. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 16 hours per week. In addition to your pay you will also benefit from:

As one of our retail assistants you will:

• Make our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile
• Help customers find what they are looking for
• Provide a fast and friendly service and leaving a good impression on all customers
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, placing products on the shop floor.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean and tidy.

You will need:

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to be done. Adaptability, rota can have you putting out deliveries, working on till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines all in one shift.
• To be reliable as you will part of a small team, you must be dependable for your colleagues and customers, to do your best on each shift and work as part of the team.
• Flexibility with shifts, when other team members are off, you may be required to work a different shift pattern to cover them
• Good time management and prioritisation is an essential skill required in this job as the store can become busy during certain periods
