Many of our regulars will be aware that we are about to stop selling National Lottery tickets and Scratchcards. This service will stop on 3rd June.
Since the pandemic many people now play online, and this has made the Lottery not a very profitable thing for us. Apologies to those affected ............... D & B.

David's Father has passed away and the funeral is on Friday. We are very short staffed and so will be closing early on Thursday and Friday and closed all day on Saturday and Sunday. Everything back to normal Monday.

Beth and David would like to thank everyone for all their kind words and encouragement over the last year, particularly when we both had Covid recently.
We will be open normal hours Friday to Sunday closing at 2pm on Sunday and re-opening on Weds 27th at 9am.
The same hours at New Year Closing Sunday at 2pm re-opening Weds 3rd Jan at 9am.

In exactly a week's time, the railways' Flying Scotsman Centenary services commence with the 9.00 departure of the first train from Platform 3, Aviemore station. There are four more Flying Scotsman services next Friday at 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, and 17.00, together with the railways' own train services which depart from Platform 3 at 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, and 16.00. These services are repeated on the 23rd, 24th, and 30th of September with the 1st of October being the last day of Flying Scotsman running at the railway.

The locomotive will be on static display, in light steam, at the Flying Scotsman Steam Gala on the 16th and 17th of September. There will be an opportunity to step aboard the world's most famous locomotive to get a closer look at the record breaker. The railways' friends at the Bon Accord Steam Engine Club are bringing a number of steam traction engines including three impressive Showman's engines. Tickets for all these services can be booked online. Alternatively, tickets for the Flying Scotsman Steam Gala can be purchased at Boat Station Ticket Office on the day.

There is no Parking at Boat Station. The railway has arranged for a car park in a field on the other side of the river Spey.
Vintage MacBraynes buses will operate a shuttle service between the field and the station.

Fish deliveries.
Following the closure of Sutherlands of Portsoy, Maurice of M S Seafoods will taking over the round from George.
Maurice will be calling at all the same places as George and you can leave orders with us from Weds 12th April. The van is normally here between 12noon and 1pm.

We've seen proposals to double yellow line in front of the shop . No proposal for the creation of car parking for this end of the village. Very concerning for us as a business.

WE ARE MOVING!!

Our time at Achnagonalin has been awesome, and thousands of happy customer have enjoyed pizza from us here!

But it now makes economic sense to re-locate our pizza business to our premises in BOAT OF GARTEN!

From mid February (date tbc) customers will be able to enjoy Andersons Woodfired Pizza Takeaway as normal, or SIT IN!! alongside a delicious, small seasonal menu, at Andersons Restaurant & Woodfired Pizza!!

Whilst we will miss our unit in Grantown - we are pretty proud of what we have created here! - this is an exciting step for us, and we can’t wait to fire the oven up and get creating in Boat Of Garten!

We are immensely grateful for your custom and hope that you will also look forward to joining us there 😊❤️🍕
