With many of us now broken up for the Easter holidays, we wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the Easter stock we have in store, as well as some exciting activities you can get involved with!

Guess the number of mini eggs in a jar… 20p per guess and you could win the jar and eggs.

Easter card competition for two age categories – under 5 and under 10 years old. Designs should be A5 size and along the theme of “Happy Easter from Blunsdon”. We hope to use the winning design next year in the shop as our local Easter cards, available to purchase by the community.
The winners of both categories will be invited to our Easter Sundae event and awarded with an Easter egg and sundae. Entries must be submitted to the shop/café by Thursday 17th April for judging.

We’ll share more about our Easter Sundaes and opening hours over the Easter weekend very soon 🐣🌼

Quick reminder that you can order good quality, fresh meat, without having to visit the butchers!

Place your orders in the shop by noon on a Tuesday and they’ll be available to pick up on a Thursday, just in time for the weekend. And the best part is, the price is exactly the same as you’d pay at their Highworth Shop, without the hassle of getting there… sounds like a win win to us!

Like all other businesses, we’re being impacted by inflationary retail pressures, particularly minimum wage and National Insurance increases. Therefore, we’ll be making some price increases from Tuesday 1 April. We remain incredibly competitively priced and endeavour to be cheaper than most similar high-street chains.

It’s our 2 year anniversary 🥳 they say time flies when you’re having fun, but can you believe we’ve been in our new premises for 2 years?! We’ve achieved so much in that time, the most obvious being our Kings Award. But what makes us most proud is our contribution to the village. Not only are we the hub of our community, but we also provide support to the pre-school, St Leonard’s PTA and local Duke of Edinburgh and Uplands Students. Seeing them grow in confidence whilst working alongside our staff and volunteers is very rewarding and I know they love working with us.

Thank you to everyone that continues to support us. Whether that’s shopping in store, attending events, volunteering with us or just stopping by for a cuppa. We appreciate you all ♥️

We’re donating 10% of the profit from pancake sales to St Leonards school PTA to go towards their new outdoor classroom 🥞

Thank you so much to everyone that came along to our latest fundraising event, singalong bingo on Friday night. We managed to raise £600 from ticket sales and the bar on the night! This money will go towards servicing our coffee machine, so we’re able to continue serving you, our community ☕️ thanks again! 🥳
