Introducing ‘Warm Lunch Wednesday’s’! Starting tomorrow, we’ll be trialling offering jacket potatoes in the cafe every Wednesday. There’ll be three topping options; just cheese for £6, cheese & coleslaw for £6.50 and cheese & beans for £6.75.

Jacket potatoes will only be available on Wednesday’s between 12:30 - 2:30 for now, while we gauge the amount of interest - so please do let us know your thoughts 🥔

We’re excited to announce the winners of our first monthly draw! We’ve awarded £120 to ticket number 2 and £60 to ticket number 91. Remember, the more people who get involved, the more we’ll have in the pot that can be won. So, why not get involved in the February draw? Only £2 a ticket, on sale now in the shop! 🎟️

It’s the end of January! We’ve made it through what feels like the longest month of the year. Time to treat yourself with one of our delicious coffees and scrumptious cakes. We also have vegan and gluten free options, so there’s truly something for everyone ☕️🍰

Come along to our next tea and talk on 28th January to hear from our First Responders - volunteers for the South West Ambulance Service Trust, who are on call to attend cardiac arrests, heart attacks, difficulty breathing etc. They’re essential in rural areas where it’s difficult for an ambulance to attend quickly. Their aim is to assess and stabilise the patient prior to their arrival. Join us to find out more about this vital role ☕️

We’re very proud to support our local community in lots of different ways. One of those being that we provide weekly work placements to students from Uplands and seeing them flourish and gain confidence and pleasure in working with us is very rewarding! Our current students recently sent us thank you cards as a token of their appreciation which were so lovely to receive. It’s a big thank you right back from all of us for their continued hard work 🥰

From 2nd January we’ll be introducing the Blunsdon Community Shop Monthly Draw. Purchase a £2 ticket in the shop and choose your lucky number between 1 and 300 (increase your chances of winning by purchasing more than one ticket). A winner will be selected on the 1st of every month using a random number generator. Half the money raised from the ticket sales will be the prize pot, the other half will support ongoing improvements in the shop and café. It’s a win win! 💷🏆
