MARMALADE COMPETITION
We are lucky to have more Seville Oranges in again this week.
We are running
BEST IN BLAIRGOWRIE & DISTRICT MARMALADE COMPETITION 2025.
This has proven to be a wee popular bit of fun with over 20 entries in past years. All we ask is a wee sample . I will number it and match the number with your name and contact number and Shona from Taystful will blind taste and judge it.
Entries in by February 20th and winner will be announced by 24th.
Go on give it a try, past winners got a nice suprise so this time it could be you.
Please share and tell anyone you think could give it a go.

SOUP BAGS
It's defenetly a home made soup kind of day to warm your soul.
We have the fridge filled with soup bags to make it that bit easier for you and also gives you the chance to maybe try something different.
At least a good 6 bowls would be made from a bag with all you need in the bag.
Go on give them a try 👩‍🍳
Mind keep a wee eye on our elderly and vulnerable neighbours, maybe hand in a bowl to them. Blairgowrie and District care for the community.

Well I truly felt like I was home back in the kitchen getting baking.
We are all stocked up again at Mitchell's with empire biscutes, custard creams, shortie, Victoria Sponge, and 6 different tray bake slices. Couple new flavours for you to try and let me know what you think.
Singing Kettle in Alyth have there order as well as Johnsons...

Hi all, with only a couple of days left to get yourself organised, we would like to thank you for your support. Mitchells, Smelleez , Little Birdie Coffee , and Taystful have all collaborated together again to produce beautiful gift boxes for the Angus Hotel as part of there festive celebrations. Just wonderful how they have supported four small local businesses .

Many thanks to all that organised and braved the weather last night for the late night shopping.
Smelleez was in the store with all her products and we were kept cozy with little Birdie hot chocolate and home made shortbread.

Makes a good six bowls all ingredients in bag apart from water 🤪
