The minimum unit price for alcohol is currently 50p per unit.

From 30 September 2024, it will increase to 65p per unit.

All retailers across Scotland will incur MUP price increases from Monday 30th September 2024.

🚨We ask customers to please remember that the MUP increase is Scottish Government Policy and not your local store staff increasing prices. Please remember to be kind to your local retail staff.

This is the reason, if we see anything suspicious, we will ask the kid a question but then there parents come to the shop and complain that we are accusing there kids. This kid in the black tracksuit stolen an elf bar from the shop, but if you look closely he already have another v**e in his pocket, which means he must be doing this in other shops too. In the last few week, quite a few kids have done this kind of thing, stealing different thing but I ignored it and not posted anything, but now I have to get the message out there.

This idiot thinks he can get away with this , he stole a can of red bull from the shop earlier today.

Keep an eye out for these 2 idiots, the person in the orange hoodie stole a case of Tennents from the shop while the other distracted me.

The guy in the black jacket stole noodles and chocolate from the shop earlier today, please keep an eye out for him, incase he does anything like this somewhere else. If he could have asked me to pay later I would've let him have it. I don't understand why people do this when they can afford scratch cards and alcohol.
