Maybe it’s just us but a little bit of sun has us craving a G&T. And, by contributing at least 10% of their profits to fund sustainable water projects in the worlds poorest communities, One Gin completely take the guilt out of a cheeky mid-week gin.
Not to mention, it’s deliciously herbaceous, savoury and smooth.

The man behind many wines on our shelves and famed lover of puns (we still get requests for his near mythical Conan the Barbera Barbera d'Alba) Graham Wharmby is hosting an evening showcasing his newest passion-The Wines of the Loire. Always known for the Sauv Blancs from Sancerre & Pouillly Fume, Graham has been busy unearthing cracking wines from the overlooked Central Loire, home of Anjou, Vouvray and Saumur Champigny amongst many others. This gorgeous Lebanese orange wine has just hit our shelves and it’s flying! Winemaker Faouzi Issa from Domaine de Tourelles was mentored by a few Georgian producers in the production of amber wines and this is the result of that hard work.
150 year old Merweh vines (that’s a native Lebanese grape variety!). Fermentation in terracotta jars. 4 months skin contact.
Super floral, loads of peaches and pears on the palate and that classic orange salinity on the finish. We cannot get enough!

From one of our favourite Romanian producers, this native varietal, Feteasca Neagra, is a truely ancient variety. It’s full of black pepper, blackberries, blackcurrants and cherries. Grab it whilst you can.

It's here, the final day of our Christmas Advent Calendar!

And for our final wine we've gone for the wonderfully named "La Vie a Pleines Dents! (That's "Bite Into Life!" to our non French speakers!)

This wine is a celebration of life and the idea of appreciating every moment. It's a gorgeous Grenache Blanc that's filled with stone fruits and florality.

A great gift for that person that lives each moment to the fullest!

We're almost there folks!

This is a treat for those "sweeter red" drinkers amongst you. This stunning Dornfelder from the team at Villa Wolf.

Bright and juicy with some sweetness right on the finish, and, at only 11.5% abv, easy to sink a few bottles on Christmas Day.

The first of which is this gorgeous Palomino from Strange Kompanjie in South Africa. Floral notes, hints of fennel, and almond nuttiness on the finish.

Look at this chonky boy from Flaxman wines. Our Christmas suggestion is to drizzle a Tunworth with white wine and honey and serve with a glass (or bottle) of this sexy fella.

A blend of Rathay, Roesler and St Laurent. The only challenge when drinking this wine is not getting Ram Jams classic hit stuck in your head for the entire festive period...

Quara Torrontes from the Cafayate Valley in Argentina where they often have a barbeque for their Christmas Day lunch! We certainly won't be braving the English weather for that, but we will be drinking this delicious Torrontes!

An orange wine from Croatia is today's advent calendar pick! And we have to say, the combination of a roast turkey dinner (with all the trimmings!) and orange wine first hit the Connolly Family Christmas Day table a few years back and it's a stunning partnership.

This bad boy is beautifully aromatic, peachy, and nutty with a lovely robust body.

It's that time again... Ed's Hungover Wine Notes is back, although this one's a little less hungover and a little less wine based. Wine cask aged Tequilas have just hit the shelf, see what Ed thinks then pop in to give them a try!

Ed's been at it again! After indulging in some delicious Portuguese cuisine at @vaz_restaurant he's back with another wine notes. This time, he's showing a gorgeous sparkling wine from Portugal: @cabrizwines Espumante Bruto 🍷✨

You guys loved the first of “Ed’s Hungover Wine Notes”...so we managed to convince (bribe) Ed to get back in front of the camera.... We may have timed this one a little wrong though. (Sorry Ed!)

Ed had a little too much fun at last nights @jq_bid dinner, so we decided it was the perfect day to force him in front of a camera to talk about wine... Introducing our new series “Ed’s Hungover Wine Notes” where Ed will be talking about his favourite bottles whilst looking and feeling entirely miserable. Today’s wine is the Cuvee Dissenay Pinot Noir. Give it a like and a share so that we can torture him a little more.
