As scary as it is, we are definitely on a countdown to Christmas now! Very busy week in the shop last week, including late night shopping on Friday night & the very successful pop up market in the village hall yesterday. I may have put in a little few too many hours 😴 so if you see me yawning or looking a bit worse for wear, please be kind! 😂🤞🏻
There will be plenty more going on in the coming weeks, so watch out for updates on here soon. It’s all in the Christmas planning! 🫣 🎄🎁🎅🏻 please be aware that we have already taken orders for the run up to Christmas, so best to get in as soon as possible as once the baking diary is full it will be closed ☺️ Thanks in advance!

Apologies to anyone who has been in the shop this week and were unable to get a newspaper. Due to Ford shop no longer stocking papers, we have been busier than usual. Although we had increased the newspaper numbers to provide for this in advance, we are still trying to find the correct levels 😳 anyone who has had to deal with Menzies will understand how difficult it is to get them to send extra and not keep changing our orders!
If you would like us to keep you a newspaper, daily, at weekends or any combination of these, please let us know so we can add you to the list. We are also
happy to accept all paper copies of the newspaper vouchers. Hopefully we have got this sorted 🤞🏻 📰🗞️

Don’t forget, THIS FRIDAY, we will be staying open until 7.30pm so you can pop in and browse our Christmas gifts & treats (or just shop in general!) We will have some sample hampers made up, but we don’t do 2 the same and we love to personalise them, so just pick your gifts & a basket and let us do the rest, at no extra charge ☺️ We will also have Fizz and Tasters to keep you going. Today on the counter we have home made Sweet Mince Pies 😋 chunky, sticky Florentines 😋 Carrot Cupcakes 😋 Cheese, Smoked Bacon & Black Pudding Scones 😋 Cheese & Potato Pie 😋 Breakfast Pie 😋 Vegetable Soup 😋 lots of Quiche 😋 Sausage Rolls and lots lots more!!! We have the first of our late night Christmas Shopping events next Friday (8th) in the shop between 5 and 7.30pm.

Then next Sunday (10th) you will find us (and our tasty treats) at the Village Hall between 10am-4pm alongside some wonderful craft stalls. It was well attended last time, with something for everyone, it’s a great chance to do a bit more Christmas Shopping ☺️

Been so busy in the shop today I never got a chance to get this posted 🥵 But we have lots of deliveries, of new products & gifts, arriving every day. Now Halloween is over, we are going into full blown Christmas mode! 🎅🏻🎁🎄

New beers in today from
We have Muckle Bari which is a Brown Ale & Muckle Berry which is a Winter Ale. We also have gift packs, 3 mix & match bottles or a bottle with glass (see photo).

Also another top up delivery from the lovely Sophie but forgot to grab a picture 🫣 so will pop one on in the morning. Always makes the shop smell lovely and her products are a firm favourite with a lot of you. If you haven’t tried them yet, pop in for a look 👀

Advance warning, we are going to stay open for late night shopping next Friday (8th) until 7.30pm. Last year this was a great success so we are going to try 2 this year, the first for those who love to be super organised and one at the beginning of December for those who are a bit more last minute. More details to follow 🎅🏻🎄🎁🫶🏻
