East Boldre Chapel Stores and Post Office Chapel Stores is a community owned and run shop and Post Office established in East Boldre's former Baptist chapel.

Our members raised £221,700 which, with a government grant of £229,500, donations and other grants funded the Chapel Stores project.

We have some beautiful bouquets of fresh cut flowers at Chapel Stores. These are provided by a local supplier and will add a lovely splash of colour to any room. Drop in to our cafe sessions on Thursday 2.00-4.00pm and Friday 11.00-1.00pm and have a coffee and homemade cake…and pick up a bunch on your way out!

Well-deserved congratulations to East Boldre's Archie Kitcher, this year's 16 year old winner of Plunkett UK's National Rural Community Businesses Young Person Award. Thanks to all the local residents who voted for him, nominees are drawn from the vital volunteers who support the UK's 800 community businesses so your votes were important to his success.

You can get your trail map and quiz from Chapel Stores and see postman Pat our entry. The prize giving will be at School Fields at 3pm on Sunday 29th where a BBQ, refreshments and cakes will be available from 1pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

But you can always have fresh bread by ordering the day before at the shop counter or by calling 02380 101524 and have your loaf reserved specially for you 😊👍
