Chatsworth car park is free to use right now 🚗 Walk and a coffee anyone?

Despite the wild weather lately, we are so happy to see so many of you enjoying the park while the house and garden are closed for conservation.

If you’re planning a walk, don’t forget our car park is free to use until 26 March (when we re-open) and the stables shop and restaurants are open for refreshments.

Ashford looking picture perfect in the snow ❄️

The Peak District does little village views exceptionally well! You’ll find this pretty lane in Ashford-in-the-Water, and it looked like a scene straight from a Christmas movie in the snow last week. Just past this house with its bright green door is the medieval sheepwash bridge, voted by Visit England as being one of the best locations in the country to play Pooh Sticks … and you can't get a better advert for a village than that! - Suzanne
