Harris The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The new Oloroso expression is entirely matured in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, for a bold and deeply aromatic spirit that builds upon the complexity and drinkability that fans of The Hearach have come to expect. The rich dram features notes of orange peel, warming spices, fireside smoke, and toasted hazelnuts that evoke a cosy winter evening – an antidote to the cooler nights as the evenings become longer and the autumnal chill sets in.

Distilled, matured, married and bottled on the Isle of Harris, The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured is bottled at 46% ABV, no colour added, and non-chill filtered with the spirit lightly peated at 12-15ppm matured in casks hand-picked for quality from the respected Bodega José y Miguel Martín in the beautiful Andalusia region in southern Spain.



Harrison Wood, blender at the Isle of Harris Distillery, describes his tasting notes of The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured as “Initial winter aromas of cinnamon, orange peel, and cloves which remind me of Christmas at home. There are green notes of herbs and the nostalgic creaminess of white chocolate from childhood days. When sipped, I can taste walnuts and fireside wood smoke. The dram develops with a hint of thyme from my kitchen, closely followed by dried oranges. Spices then come through, like vanilla pods and a subtle sense of cloves, before a long leather and liquorice finish."

We are delighted to Introduce the Icons of Campbeltown, Release No 2

This is the second release of five annual limited-editions 😍

A celebration of The Campbeltown Market Cross – a community meeting point for storytelling – each release in this annual five part series takes its inspiration from the series of saints and beasts carved into the cross’ face. On the left arm of the cross, Saint Michael backed by an army of supporters heroically slays a fire breathing dragon with his spear. Glen Scotia has partnered with celebrated artist, Joel Holtzman (Lucasfilm, Marvel, Disney, Macmillan) to bring each of these icons to life.

Distillery fires were not an uncommon occurrence in Campbeltown’s Victorian whisky making heyday, claiming a number of the town’s distilleries just as dragons of children’s tales devastated villages and castles. However hard times certainly have a way of pulling the distilling community together, much like on December 17th, 1899 when Glen Scotia along with heroic community members fought a fierce blaze at Dalintober distillery and saved it from an early fate. You’ll find no living saints or dragon slayers in Campbeltown, just a community who endures against the odds by virtue of its prevailing spirit of unity.

A medium peated limited edition malt finished for six months in ex- Barolo red wine casks.

Non-chillfiltered, natural colour and bottled at batch strength( 56.8% abv)

Tasting Notes

Decadently smoky with hints of fiery red candied fruits and berries, the finish is long with a dry spicey end note.
A subtle maritime salinity leaves no question which distillery this limited edition hails from.

Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky THIRON 2024 is the first in a series of annual releases that celebrate Lindores Abbey’s centuries-old ties to the French village and Abbey of Thiron-Gardais where the Tironesian monks came from, who laid down the spiritual foundations of Scotch Whisky. This bottling from Lindores Abbey Distillery has been matured in a combination of French Virgin Oak casks, Bourbon casks and red wine Barriques of exceptional quality developing a unique profile.
This Lindores Single Malt is bottled at the distillery at 49.4% ABV.

Colour: Chestnut
Nose: Mellow vanilla cake, caramel syrup, baking spices and fruity plum jam.
Palate: Oaky vanilla, butterscotch, plum jam playing with cinnamon, ginger notes and layers of roasted chestnuts. Silky texture on the palate, very well balanced and complex with a pleasing finish.
Finish: Medium length finish.

2024 marks the arrival of the 14th Edition Kilchoman 100% Islay.

The 100% Islay 14th Edition was distilled from the 2013 and 2014 barley harvests before being matured in selected bourbon and oloroso sherry casks for a minimum of 9 years. The combination of bourbon and sherry cask maturation has created layers of vanilla, butterscotch and rich fruity character that balance beautifully with the natural citrus sweetness and floral peat smoke of this 100% Islay spirit.

Nose: Campfire smoke, preserved lemon, orange peel, tropical sweetness

Palate: Creamy caramelised sugars, vanilla, lemon, pineapple sweetness, fresh ginger, and oak smoke.

Finish: Oily and textured with rich sherry notes and lasting peat smoke

As we prep for our 2024 barley harvest on the farm, we’re excited to announce the launch of our third and final Crop of Harvest Edition.

Sitting at 46% ABV, this release has been double matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels and Port hogsheads, alongside a single Oloroso Sherry butt.

Indulge in notes of strawberry jam and clotted cream on the nose, giving way to freshly baked apple pie and white chocolate on the palate. The finish is beautifully balanced with a hint of cracked black pepper.

The third and final batch of the Harvest Edition is ready!

Harvest Edition (Third Crop) is the second in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of the Seasonal trilogy. This whisky has been double matured in refill bourbon barrels and port hogsheads, alongside an oloroso sherry butt, offering a different take on the sweet, summery flavour profile associated with the Harvest trilogy. With the spirit another year older, expect rich dessert notes upfront balanced by savoury black pepper on the finish.

Nose: Bright red grapes, fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream
Palate: Sweeter notes of baked apple pie and white chocolate

Ardbeg Traigh Bhan Batch 6

For Traigh Bhan Batch 6, a slightly oily mouthcoating leads into an intense, minty sweetness. Waves of signature Ardbeg notes in creosote, coal tar soap and bonfire embers follow. Whiffs of smoked pineapple and toasted bread swirl around deep, rich flavours of dark chocolate, peppermint cream and camphor. A long and unhurried finish carries with it notes of coffee grounds and liquorice.

From the Ardbeg Distillery to Port Ellen and beyond, follow the rocky coast and you will discover the heavenly vista of Traigh Bhan, the beautiful beach known locally as the Singing Sands. This captivating place has white soft sands that sing beneath your feet, a hum that ebbs and flows with the winds and the tides. But beguiling as this place is, do not drop your guard. Bathing is ill advised in the seemingly tame crystal waters where jagged, volcanic rocks piece the sands along the shore, and plenty of this you will see on the packaging itself.

Produced in a single batch each year, each annual batch of Traigh Bhan features a unique code on the carton, bottle and foot label.

Ardbeg 14 Year Old Anthology A Unicorns Tale
Single Malt Scotch

Anthology is a series of limited releases over the next 2 years, comprising unique Ardbeg expressions released in increasing age from 13YO to 15YO. The “Anthology” will tell a story of three rare and strange liquids: experimental maturations in which Dr. Bill crossed classic Ardbeg smoke with sweeter, more delicate notes. The result: a merging of cask ‘species’, creating entirely new Ardbeg creatures. Three parcels of teenage stock have been selected. Each contains a cask maturation which is unique vs. any previous Ardbeg batch release.

The unicorn’s tale is the second edition in the series, following on from the success of the first Anthology release, Harpy’s Tale.

UNICORNS TALE
On a dark night after a fête at the Distillery, the clip-clop of hooves was heard echoing around the yard. Those less swayed by mythical tales will tell you it was Rory, the Distillery’s greedy Shetland Pony – known for his ill-temper and devilishly sweet tooth. Others believe something else was afoot…
Distillery workers ventured outside to investigate. Rounding the corner, they witnessed a horse-like creature rearing up against a full moon. A horn protruding from its head, it cut a chilling silhouette. The next day, rumours swirled about a sighting of Scotland’s national animal… a Unicorn.
Now of course, questions about a raided ice cream truck, Rory’s unlatched gate, and a strangely wafery-looking horn were levelled at the workers. But they know what they saw! Sure, a greedy-guts pony is plausible, but Islay is a mysterious place…
Whisky matured in a marriage of aromatic Madeira casks and classic Ardbeg ex-bourbon casks, this rare 14 year old malt has been bottled in tribute to the fabled Islay Unicorn. This legendary edition is the second in the Ardbeg Anthology Collection. Like the myth itself, this spirit may appear sweet in nature, but it hides a smoky twist not to be underestimated.

Colour: Pure gold

Aroma: Rich, sweet, aromatic and fruity, baked banana bread and syrupy sponge pudding fill the senses. Notes of treacle trot into a distinctive whiff of burning cedarwood. A splash of water releases a bounty of tropical fruits. Eucalyptus oil mingles with and soft, aromatic smoke.

Taste: Zesty notes of lime and sweet peaches canter across the palate. A burst of rich smoked fruit and baked bread prance into antiseptic lozenges, creosote, and aniseed. Soft barley malt combines with nutmeg and peat smoke.

A limited-edition bottle to commemorate 15 years of the Glenfarclas Distilleries sponsorship of Cheltenham Racecourse.

This limited-edition bottle is an acknowledgement to the 15 champions of past Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase Races.
The fifteen winners are all listed chronologically on the rear label from 2009 - 2023.
In a gesture of significance, a portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold will directly support Racing Welfare. The Jockey Club's charity partner.



Complex, sherried, deliciously peated and with light butterscotch aromas as well as a hint of dried fruit.

The palate is full-bodied with a superb balance of sherried sweetness, malty tones and peaty flavours.

The finish is long lasting with sweet sherry.

Finished for over 11 months in European Oak Oloroso Sherry Casks.

Nose : Rich, fruity aromas of stewed plums and rhubarb combine with dark chocolate, raisins, cardamom and cinnamon, alongside a touch of old leather.
Taste : Soft and velvety mouthfeel, beginning with juicy plums, nectarines and melted almond butter, before umami notes of cinnamon, clove and brandy snaps emerge

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky - Aged 11 Years from Teaninich Distillery - James Eadie

Finished for over 11 months in European Oak Malaga Casks.

Nose : Fresh notes of apricot, peach, mango and papaya are all immediately present, joined by thick beeswax and marzipan, with an undercurrent of green tea and cut grass.
Taste : Creamy, thick and full-bodied, as Greek yoghurt, honeyed oats and white grapes combine with more savoury flavours of burnt caramel and camomile.

Finish : Matcha green tea cheesecake with clotted cream and apricots.

This six year old release from The Glasgow Distillery showcases their fruity unpeated single malt with a rare Hungarian sweet wine cask influence. Initially matured within first fill ex-bourbon casks, this release has undergone an extended secondary maturation of 3 years and 6 months within Tokaji wine casks to offer notes of tropical mango, pineapple orange, dried apricot, cashew nuts, manuka honey, and nutmeg spice.

Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Triple Distilled Cognac Cask Finish - Batch 2 - Lightly Peated

This six year old release from The Glasgow Distillery demonstrates their wonderful spirit and wood management by combining three unpeated Cognac casks with two peated casks for a ‘lightly peated’ release. Initially matured within first fill ex-bourbon casks, this characteristically fruity release has been finished for an extended 3 years and 4 months within exceptional French Cognac casks to offer notes of sweet smoke, rich honey, poached pear, dried apple, and vanilla ice cream.

Each release in the Vintage Y2K collection, will reveal a different rare secret from the 2000 archives. Providing some added value, ‘in the know’ content. Enhancing the sense of 2000 being such a special year for Ardbeg.

The year 2000 was a very good year for Ardbeg. You might almost say a vintage year. But why? What was so significant about this particular moment in time?

Since The Glenmorangie company bought Ardbeg in 1997, the Distillery has been renovating and replacing building equipment. After 3 years of revival, the millennium year shift came with a momentous gear shift for Ardbeg.

2000 was the time the rocket boosters were fired up. Ardbeg took an upward trajectory and it’s never looked back.

Remember the year 2000? A time of frenzy and panic surrounding the millennium bug. People everywhere going crazy predicting computerised chaos, digital meltdown and an end to everything.

For Ardbeg, the year 2000 was truly a momentous year. With the renovation of the Ardbeg Distillery in place, Dr. Bill and the whisky creation team used their magic on this serendipitous rare stock.

Introducing the second of Arran’s Signature Series this 11yo Single Malt. 42ppm peated Arran spirit was filled into Ex Bourbon Barrels for five and a half years, followed by a secondary maturation of five and a half years in 115 ltr Quarter Casks. Specially selected by Stewart Bowman bearing his seal of approval.

Each bottle comes with a recyclable cotton gift bag.

Nose : Hazelnuts coated in caramel. Orange Zest and abundant vanilla. Rich dry smoke.

Palate : Rich and smooth. Mouth-watering, oily and complex. Spicy, cinnamon notes mingle with citrus. Lots and lots of vanilla and toasted oak.



Finish : Long rich and sweet. Plenty of vanilla and peat

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Cask Strength Batch 10 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2024 Release

Batch No 10 is the brand new release from the excellent Glengyle Distillery, this malt showcases a different side of the normally lightly peated Kilkerran range. A typical Campbeltown dram, there is a sweetness to the peat and a clear maritime influence.

Influence: 90% Bourbon and 10% Sherry

Nose: A sweet introduction, there are notes of icing sugar, creme brulee and custard.
Palate: The peat smoke is soft and sweet, with notes of toasted marshmallows typical of the Kilkerran Heavily Peated range. Hints of gooseberries and parma violets develop over time.
Finish:The sweetness lingers in the nish in notes of orange pulp.

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Cask Strength Batch 2 is the second in a series of annual limited-edition bottlings. Each batch will be bottled straight from the casks without water, like trying samples from the warehouse itself!

Cask Strength Batch 2 showcases something entirely new from Lochlea, as Production Director John Campbell has selected a combination of Oloroso Sherry, STR and PX casks from the warehouse that work particularly well at higher strength, amplifying the signature fruit, nut, and cereal flavours. This whisky opens with apples, peach syrup, and marmalade. Then comes wild lavender and rose petals on the palate. The finish is long and continues with more fruit and a hint of black pepper.

Nose: Apples, peach syrup, marmalade

Palate: Wild lavender, rose petals

Finish: Black pepper, signature Lochlea fruit

Matured in a combination of PX, Oloroso and STR, Cask Strength Batch 2 sits at 60% ABV and packs a serious, flavourful punch.

The nose is all fruit, with apples and marmalade complemented by delectable peach syrup. The palate begins with delicate floral notes of wild lavender and rose petals, before the STR influence kicks in on the finish, giving you black pepper and dried fruits.
