If you enjoy working in a busy environment where no two days are the same, and the customer is at the heart of everything you do, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you. This is a part time role but extra hours are available from holiday cover.
�You will be on hand to answer any customer queries but also, ensuring all administration is completed effectively and adhering to security measures at all times will play a key part in your role. � �Along with previous customer service experience, you will have strong communication skills and a high level of numeracy. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail will ensure you can be a successful Counter Clerk, as will your level of initiative to identify those important selling opportunities. A confident nature, with a positive outlook will ensure you can liase with a diverse customer base and cross sell the brilliant products and promotions the Post Office has to offer. � �As a valued member of our Post Office team you will receive full Post Office counter training, plus ongoing training and support. There will be opportunities for development and career progression, along with auto enrolment to the State Pension, 5.6 weeks holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays). Successful candidates for this role will need to undertake a criminal record check.

We are a busy family run convenience store based in the heart of Attleborough. We are at the centre of our community; you will get to know many of our regular customers on a first name basis.
We offer a competitive rate of pay and a comfortable working environment.
You will have a variety of roles, from serving customers, restocking shelves, taking in deliveries, merchandising displays and replenishing stock efficiently.
We expect candidates to be flexible with shifts and be available to work evenings and weekends, be comfortable working on a touch screen till, be over 18 (as we sell age restricted products such as alcohol). Previous experience in a supermarket or convenience store is desirable.
While no previous experience is necessary, candidates will need to display intuitive thinking when learning new tasks.
We have part time and full time roles available of which both are permanent positions.
