We’re looking for local organisations who would like to work with us as we’ve been gifted a pallet full of Orangina by the amazing people over at Lucozade Ribena Suntory who believe in local stores giving back to their local communities 🤝🏼

We have some places that we have worked with in the past so we’ll be contacting those but for the mean time and in order to facilitate this please can you share our details with sports clubs, youth groups, care homes, charitable organisations, food banks. You name them, we’ll make contact or vice versa.

NB: we may have too many nominations so we’ll do our best to share appropriately

🌟 Supporting Our Community 🌟

Over four years ago, Elaine Easthope and Clair Fisher began making a difference in our town by providing food parcels to those in need. As their efforts grew, they established A little more Kindness CIC, an independent non-profit organisation that now serves our community from a cabin in Attleborough. Relying solely on donations of food and sanitary products, they are a vital part of local food waste schemes.

While the majority of their food and products are distributed for free to members, they sometimes sell items at a reduced rate to help replenish stock and support the ongoing cost of living crisis. Every penny of profit is reinvested into providing more products for those who need it most.

In just the first two weeks of operation, A Little More Kindness welcomed over 70 members! This incredible initiative is bridging the gap for many, especially working families, by offering memberships with no strict criteria unlike traditional food banks.

At Dodds Road Stores, we’re proud to support this wonderful cause. Through our Making A Difference Locally (MADL) fund, we are donating £300 to help A Little More Kindness continue their essential work. This contribution will go towards purchasing more food and supporting local families.

If you’d like to learn more about how Dodds Road Stores and MADL can support the causes close to your heart, speak to our Store Manager, Emma Shaw. Together, we can make a difference by donating to schools, hospices, sports teams, social clubs, and many other worthy causes.

Unfortunately England didn’t bring it home yesterday but a massive well done, we’re all super proud of our nation for getting to the final, with just a little bit of football fever left it’s time for us to announce our Euro 2024 football winner 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏🏼❤️
