🌟 Supporting Our Community 🌟
Over four years ago, Elaine Easthope and Clair Fisher began making a difference in our town by providing food parcels to those in need. As their efforts grew, they established A little more Kindness CIC, an independent non-profit organisation that now serves our community from a cabin in Attleborough. Relying solely on donations of food and sanitary products, they are a vital part of local food waste schemes.
While the majority of their food and products are distributed for free to members, they sometimes sell items at a reduced rate to help replenish stock and support the ongoing cost of living crisis. Every penny of profit is reinvested into providing more products for those who need it most.
In just the first two weeks of operation, A Little More Kindness welcomed over 70 members! This incredible initiative is bridging the gap for many, especially working families, by offering memberships with no strict criteria unlike traditional food banks.
At Dodds Road Stores, we’re proud to support this wonderful cause. Through our Making A Difference Locally (MADL) fund, we are donating £300 to help A Little More Kindness continue their essential work. This contribution will go towards purchasing more food and supporting local families.
