We are delighted to have teamed up with EF Bakers https://www.efbakers.co.uk/
to provide the most delicious artisan bread, pastries and cakes, every Saturday morning.
You'll find it on the new display by the till .. where you'll also find Aathi. We tried to get Aathi to pose for a photo next to the display but he was having none of it! 🙁

We don't actually know how to express our massive appreciation to all the amazing friends who turned out yesterday morning to help fill in the potholes at the entrance to the shop.
We knew how problematic the potholes were becoming for everyone using the site, and weren't convinced that the state of the forecourt wasn't a factor in dwindling custom to us and our neighbouring units.
So Vinoth decided to pay for the materials and with an incredible volunteer workforce from the community (and the expert guidance of Pete Molloy), the pesky potholes are a thing of the past.
You are all amazing and have earnt the right to wear your pants on the outside of your trousers and don a cape🌟🩲Thank you! 🤗🤩

Fresh in today - the most beautiful flowers from local florist Ria in Upton. We are really proud to be supporting her. And at just £5 a bunch, it's a great way to spoilt that special someone 🥰🌷

A little bit of info from Ria: The business is called Tierra Flora and the growing field is in Upton. I grow flowers for cutting with the British seasons using organic methods and regenerative farming techniques. No pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilisers, all natural 😀
The business sells cut flowers arranged in bouquets, and will be offering subscription flowers later in the season along with DIY wedding buckets and Farewell flowers.

We need your help!

On Saturday 20th April, 9am onwards, we will be filling in the potholes at the entrance to the shop, under the guidance of our amazing friend and local builder Pete Molloy.

With the help of equipment provided by Sarah & John Mills, we hope to complete the job as quickly as possible with as little disruption to everyone.

But we could do with some extra pairs of hands!

If you could spare an hour to come and help shovel scalpings into the potholes, or pushing wheelbarrows, the job will be completed speedily.

Vinoth will provide refreshments to everyone helping.

Please send us a message if you can help for as little or as long as you can spare. And hopefully the potholes will be a distant memory! 👏🙏

Hello everyone - our lovely village school is having an open day for you to come and have a look around, with a view to registering your children with us.

We recently received a GOOD Ofsted and SIAMS inspection and have spaces in all years for September.

If you would like your child to cone to a small friendly village school with small classes, come along and meet the team and have a look around.

We were delighted to hear that the bacon butties at the Hurstbourne5 race on Saturday made over £700 alone, for the chosen charities. Overall, the event was the most successful yet, making over £6,000, all of which is shared between Andover Young Carers, Enham Trust, the Air Ambulance and the Countess of Brecknock hospice. Thank you to all our customers who helped support this fantastic local event. See you next year - May 4th 2024 👏👍😍👕🏃

A massive thank you to Vinoth and Aathi at the Family Shopper. Vinoth has provided all of our water, our bacon and our rolls. That’s a huge contribution to our costs! The least you can all do is come along and ensure the bacon buttie tent wins the grudge match with the cake stall.

Vinoth also sponsors our first villager trophy, so he’ll be there tomorrow to present it to the fastest runner in HBT. We have 30 villagers entered; it could be the tightest race yet!

We were delighted to hear that 11 year old Joey Otter, one of our former HBT residents and a pupil at the Primary School, won the competition to design this year's Hurstbourne 5 race Fun Run t-shirt. What a fabulous picture! Well done Joey!
